TESO LIFE

Really cool Japanese store. It feels more like a Japanese CVS in terms of the items sold (not great for common grocery store items or food). It’s very clean and they have a lot of variety of things from chopsticks all the way to little figurines and hygiene products.

I have been to a teso mini but I recommend going to teso life because it was more things that I even imagined that it would have I found some great Japanese facial products that I’m using for my skin and the employees were very helpful and they did find all I wanted! There are lots of Japanese snacks but be aware that some snacks are Taiwanese and Chinese so if u are looking just for Japanese ones, look and make sure it says made in Japan, from Japan, etc. I give 5 stars! I am coming again real soon for more.

This teso has a lot of things to look at. I couldn’t find the hair stick I wanted but I got a drink and it was fun to browse around the shop. The things do seem to be a slight more expensive than the other locations. But definitely check this out if you need anything makeup, skincare, haircare or Japanese products and snacks. Their ramen section looks great as well.

If you’re a addicted to beauty products this is the best place to be. Korean, Japanese beauty skin care products. Asian make up that are normally so difficult to find! And also many snacks

Love all the imported Japanese goods here! Especially for the snacks! They are always offering some good deals for the snacks. And I’ve notice that most of the imported snacks(candy,cookies, chips) are actually a bit cheaper than other Japanese/Asian supermarket. They also have a good collection Japanese skin care products. Anyway, I can always find some good deals here and I enjoyed shopping my snacks here!

Steps down so keep that in mind for those using mobility aids and strollers. Amazing store. Well stocked, great staff. Find all your J- beauty products here.

TESO LIFE is my favorite shopping place for Japanese snacks, drinks, ice cream, make up, and skincare. Every time that I come to TESO LIFE, I always find something unique and novel that I can’t wait to buy. Everything here is also very fairly priced.

Loved shopping here for UCC coffee, Kewpie sesame dressing, teokbokki (Yopoki) and Nissin cup noodle 😋

Amazing makeup and skincare selection.

RUNNN. They have a variety of goods, and they also sell FlowerKnows!!! Omg, I have been to 3 tesos so far, and this is the only one I have seen that carries the makeup branddd

I came here for an obscure KitKat flavor (cheesecake) and they had it. I knew they would. I won a bet. They also have cute Hello Kitty dishes. They also have tons of other stuff I wasn't concerned with, but maybe you'll be into it. Swing by. Check em out

Store is nicely stocked with a wide range of Japanese snacks, home goods, cosmetics, etc. The store is clean and well organized. Staff are friendly and they are active in making an example out of you if you steal from the store.

I witnessed a theft where a female attempted to leave without paying. She screamed, threw a drink, and assaulted them in her attempt to leave. The staff locked the doors and stood by the entrance barricading her in until the cops came.

Apparently, they deal with theft on a regular basis as they told me they caught another thief just 5 minutes before. Crime is at an all time high in NYC and some think they can just walk in and take whatever they want without consequence. I'm glad the staff here do not take it lightly. It's just unfortunate the employees need to risk their lives to prevent this from happening. I hope the store managers compensate them well.

Had a lovely shopping experience! It's true that the workers will come up to you, but I did not feel followed or looked down upon in any way. The woman was exceedingly polite and helpful, she helped me find the things I was looking for, gave good info on the products, and got a basket for me when I needed one. I can see how it may be less than ideal for people who don't like to be interrupted when browsing. But I'm definitely going back! The selection is great! It's fairly large for NYC. I'll be going here instead of paying expensive shipping for Japanese cosmetics on Amazon.jp or other sites.

Fantastic! Lots of little Japanese trinkets, toys, cosmetics, food stuffs and snacks. What was great was I was also able to find some bowls that matched my original set that I bought more than 10 years ago! So that was fantastic.

I was soooo excited that they had farmer Bob ! I pulled a shiny card from the Farmer bob island series ! I was SO happy ! Definitely recommend this store if you love collecting toys.

This was perfect thing for what me and my kids wanted. Great cute gifts and stocking stuffers. Fun selection of imports.

Chinese retailers that carry tons of Japanese brands. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than many Asian markets. They also carry a lot of brands and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere in the US. It’s usually sketchy buying authentic Japanese beauty items because many are fake but it appears everything is authentic here!

It’s like you’re shopping in Japan, such a vibe! Loved it.

An awesome variety of well just about anything for your skin!! I spoke with Jingxin and she was super helpful!!!! (Her name is used w/ permission) she was able to give me knowledgeable help on sunblock and skin care which allowed me to make a informed decision.
