This place is a hidden gem! The owner is so kind and took time to show us several different products. Prices are reasonable! We had a great time and the wine flight sampler was awesome! I will be back.

Highly recommend this great hidden place in Kannapolis. I’d never heard of meads before and was absolutely surprised. The owner was very knowledgeable on meads and how it differs from wine and they have a large selection to choose from depending on your taste or alcohol percentage preference.

I stopped by to check out the mead and I am pleased to say it was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable and and welcoming. I am excited to try more of their meads and their honey.

Great atmosphere, mead flights were cheap and gave me a good idea of what meads I would like. Great prices and dog friendly!!

They have a wine tasting bar at the back of the store! I had an amazing experience shopping around and purchased the Honey Baer wine! A real gem!

I moved to kannapolis a month ago and have already visited this shop three times. The mead is great and the service is amazing!

The person at the store was very friendly, helpful and professional. We tried all of the meds and all were interesting and good.
The only reason I'm holding a star is because the dark horse mead was carbonated when it shouldn't have been. This caused it to explode and gyser out and spray everywhere when I opened it. I hope they stabilize and rack their meads better in the future.

Response to the owner: might I recommend pasteurizing the mead before bottling or leaving it in second fermentation longer to ensure that fermentation is fine.

I tried 3 of their mead wines and purchased the one that was slightly fizzy. That was the reason I liked it. When I opened the bottle that evening it had no fizz whatsoever and we did not like it at all. Total waste of $26. I feel cheated.

Response to the owner: Maybe your employee should have told me that before I purchased the bottle, since I told him it was the slight fizziness that I liked! I will pass on the "free" wine tasting, since I have no intention of ever buying another bottle of your wine.
