We went on Mother’s Day weekend to pick out my annual piece of jewelry. We were so happy. Toms service was so personable. We were there for quite a while & it felt like we were talking to a friend. I picked out two things and they were both very, fairly priced. We will definitely be back for other services & jewelry. Thanks Tom!

I went to Tom for an engagement ring. Tom explained things very thoroughly, did not attempt to oversell me, and did a beautiful job. I returned to him for the wedding rings and got the same experience. He later fused my wife's engagement and wedding rings together for free. Again, beautifully done. Tom always keeps to his schedule, genuinely cares about his customers, and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.

Tom has done a couple of repairs for me and has exceeded my expectations! He also helped me with a custom pendant my son started making for me and came out amazing! Beyond happy! Thank you!!

Oh my goodness, was at Smith & Son yesterday. What a truly beautiful experience. For the first time in many, many years, I felt like I was dealing with a store (and individual) with a heart. We just moved to the area and I needed some basic items…a new watch band and a watch battery. I called and got a most pleasant salesperson on the phone. Went over and he was so helpful as I needed to order a watch band. Consider this business if you need something. The jewelry looked great as well. Nice folks.

I went in to get my husband a new battery for his watch. Tom was so quick and friendly! We ended up talking about my engagement ring and he taught me a few things about white gold and cleaning my jewelry. He also told me a little trick for earrings if I have sensitive ears, he said to add clear nail polish to the bar. This has been a huge life saver since!! I went back and had my engagement ring cleaned just before my wedding and he did an amazing job. It looked like new. I highly recommend him and will be back for all of my jewelry needs!

Smith and Son gewelry was amazing. I brought my anniversary band in missing a stone. I was told turnaround time was about a week. I let the owner know that I was leaving on vacation in a few days and he fixed my ring that day so I would have it for vacation. The shop was clean, staff was super courteous, knowledgeable, and the owner was amazing and kind with my 2 year old daughter. Additionally to all of that, the prices are EXCELLENT. I have previously had my ring repaired the same way at a much, much higher cost. I plan to bring all my jewelry here from now on. Give Smith and Son a try.

I brought my wife’s wedding ring and engagement ring to Tom. The diamond needed a new, safe setting. Tom took the time to explain options, did not over sell me. In the end he combined my mother in laws ring with my wife’s in a beautiful setting with a surprise special engraving. His work exceeded my expectations and price was very reasonable for the quality. Plus I felt I could trust him with my wife’s ring. So satisfied. I did my first review. He deserves the business. Very talented jeweler. My new jeweler.

Tom is awesome! His craftsmanship is excellent!! My jewelry never has any issues after being repaired. His work ethic is great and the time for completion especially on custom jobs is very reasonable! I highly recommend going to Tom. He is reasonable, fair and honest. You won’t be disappointed!! I was referred to Tom at their Enfield store. He is absolutely amazing. He is my new jeweler for life. His work is flawless. His customer service skills are the best. He refurbished an old family ring and it looks amazing. I am so happy with his work. I recommend him highly.

Great store and staff, extremely helpful. I met Tom and Deb in the Enfield store. Tom repaired a broken chain. When I picked it up, it looked like new! Tom is very knowledgeable and does all the repairs on site on the store. Deb was cheerful and pleasant to chat with. She is knowledgeable about the jewelry and helped me pick out a present for friend. Will definitely go back!

I went to a well known jeweler in town with my sons broken gold chain. I was told that it wasn’t salvageable. They wanted to sell me a similar chain for $700 and give me $100 for my chain. I left there and went to my parents. They told me about Smith and sons which is a local jeweler. I called and went over to the store. The owner fixed my chain right there and didn’t charge me anything to do this. What an honest businessman!!! I will definitely go back and purchase from this jeweler.

Incredible experience! My husband and I had to get our rings sized down. They said it would be done likely in 7-10 days, got a call 3 days later saying they were done. My ring was mishapened by a previous jeweler and he was able to fix it! My rings had a lot of detail and an engraving I was worried would get messed up when being resized but he assured me there would be no issue. I was also considering changing my set out to a different metal and he suggested recasting my set so it will be exact same but different metal, had no idea that was even possible! Very friendly, honest and helpful. We will be back for sure!

Outstanding jewelery store! Tom will make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. He's not only knowledgeable about the field but also a talented jeweler. I had him repair a family heirloom necklace and it was as if the break never happened. Highly recommend for any jewelery needs you have!

I found this place off of good reviews and were they right. I walked in for a simple necklace repair and was told it might not be ready for xmas but Tom got it done for me asap so i can give my gf the gift she wanted most. I was greeted with a very friendly enviorment and amazing service. I also noticed a pair of earrings that i wanted at a later date and was told i can do layaway on them which made my day, there was no pressure to buy which i like just an honest and kind gentlemen trying to make other people happy with his products. I will be going to him 100% for all my jewelry and repair needs.

If you are looking for a "Live Local" business to support, Smith & Son in Enfield CT is one I would highly recommend. The owner Tom, is fair, honest and very skilled in his craft, not a combination easily found these days. I left there extremely pleased with the work he did for me and am confident that I have finally found a trustworthy Jeweler to have some heirloom pieces repaired.

The owner is genuine and kind. So glad I found a nice local jeweler place for my all my watch needs. He replaced both of my watch batteries for a ridiculously low price and the job was finished within minutes. Highly recommend

Knowing very little about jewelry, I had no idea where to go to for a new necklace. The jeweler, Tom, was very helpful and patient with me while I debated my options. In the end, super happy with my purchase and definitely recommend checking this store out!
