IRL Game Shop

What a great shop. I brought my 13 year old son here. The staff was wonderful. I was looking for an activity for my son other than video games. The staff found a game that fit his interests. A staff member actually sat down and played a short game with him. My son got home and dove right into the game. He's reading the manual and can't wait to play a game against his dad.

My son plays Pathfinder with the same group of folks every other week since we discovered the place and the game a year and a half ago. He very very really misses a game so that must mean the store is very welcoming to play in and the group is awesome. The store is packed with great games to buy and dice and figures to paint and tons of stickers. Nice coffee shop next door and tables in front of IRL. So win win.

Went in looking for some odds and ends thinking it would be a quick in and out but ended up staying for quite a while talking about TTRPGs. Also Paul gave me a great recommendation for a metallic paint that came out great on my dragon mini. Great selection. Very nice prices and was a joy to be in a rpg shop again since my old one closed down during COVID. Happy to see great stores like this. I'll be back soon and you should go to.

Amazing store! We purchased a few board games, Pokemon Cards and our first Magic Deck. Staff is super friendly and Knowledgeable. They helped my son with a better understand of Magic: the Gathering. We are looking forward to their game nights. Store is laid out very nicely and things are easy to find.

Inviting new shop with surprisingly spacious interior and plentiful parking behind. Owner-operator Paul is welcoming, educated, congenial, and passionate about the community. I stopped by for a book but stayed for the convo, and will be back next week to play some games there. Highly recommended among hobby shops I've visited!

Amazing business; small and family run with all of them named Paul so that’s easy. Went in today to sell some pokémon cards and they said they weren’t currently buying. However they said why not take a look and proceeded to sit down with me and sort all my cards as well as count and weigh bulk. They then proceeded to price them amazingly which is rare. They have a massive selection of MTG and board games as well as minis/paints. For a new business I was very pleasantly surprised by their stock. I will definitely be returning for MTG Monday and look forward to the memories.

Great Shop, owner Paul is a cool and chill guy. Definitely knows what the local nerds want. He has a ton of stuff for kids and adults alike. My new lucky spot for Yu-Gi-Oh packs, pulled a ghost rare from one of his boxes!

Pretty cool store! Has some Pokémon sealed products and other board games etc. Vibe was chill and store was very clean.

Great little shop. The person who helped my was very nice. More people should play Boardgames in Hightstown.

A nice and cozy little gaming store with tables and seating to play card and tabletop games. Carries many of the current gaming books as well as card games and related accessories. Conveniently located next to a coffee shop and a diner on the other side.

Recently, I went to a game night hosted at irl. Great time, fun environment, and they'll teach you how to play. I plan to go again!

This is a small store but filled with everything a ton of games. They have great prices on everything and run events almost daily. I just wished they had a Loyalty program.

I really liked this shop. Got some stickers,pokemon cards and a emperor Palpatine funkos pop which I have never seen any where else. Really good customer service. Staff was very nice.

Great shop with a large assortment of RPG content and board games. Friendly cashier who helped me pick out something for my kids which was a big hit!

I was super excited when I found out this store was going to be opening so close to where I live and now that I've been in the store myself I already planned out the next 12 times I'll be stopping by. That ONE negative reviewer is clearly just an angry sad person, because I for one wish this shop nothing but luck and can't wait to go back to the friendly, inviting people I met today!
