Little Big Store

This is not just a store it's a treasure - an absolute MUST for you to visit if you love music - especially albums (they have CDs also, though). The place is packed and very crammed with stuff - but it's a magical place. If you are anywhere near - please check it out. The owner is very nice and can assist you in finding whatever you may be interested in. All musical genres are represented in this huge collection.

Not many things make me happier than a trip to Little Big Store. It has been my “go-to” vintage record store since I was a kid. Little Big Store has been one of the very few constant and consistent things in my life since I was 15 yrs old. For the past 40+ years, all kind of things have came and went. I’ve lost friends and family to cancer. I’ve lost every bar and/or hangout that I used to frequent. I’ve lost jobs. I’ve lost cars. I’ve lost houses. I’ve lost a ton of money to alcohol. I’ve lost my hairline. I’ve even lost more relationships than I care to count (or remember) but, no matter what has managed to leave, somehow Little Big Store stayed…. and I’m extremely grateful for that!!!

I love this place and stop by whenever I'm in Raymond. They have tons of albums, CDs, posters, t-shirts and memorabilia of more cultured and civilized times. They say you can't go home again, but for an old 70s guy, it's like a brief visit.

Such an atmospheric place! They owners are very nice and helpful. They sell vinyls, CDs, band t-shirts, vintage clothing, beautiful dream catchers, and one of a kind gifts. I love this place!

Great local spot. Vintage mostly everything pre-1990. Pre-owned, not a new retailer. Tons of fun stuff like posters and memorabilia also. Tons of promo type stuff 12" singles, and 12" radio interviews if you collect that type of stuff.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere and energy are wonderful. Thinking about all the people who jammed out to all these records is mind blowing. I love this place and just want to sit and hang out here to absorb some of the positivity flowing like crazy here.

I always visit here when in Mississippi. I just love a good old fashioned record store and Merein is always knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with.

Wow--what a great find! Visiting Jackson for a conference and decided to look around for some record stores and thrift stores to help build up my fledgling collection of vinyl. This place is legit--and in such a neat, historic building. The guy minding the till was really friendly and helpful (and, amazingly, seems to be able to have a running, mental inventory of the thousands of records and can point right to anything in stock). Just a really neat experience overall--so glad I decided to make the short drive to enjoy it.

Little Big Store has an amazing quantity and quality of records and 45s. Upon visiting the store several times, I continually found the owners to be helpful and considerate from everything to pricing records, to helping me find a particular item. The store is a must see for anyone interested in any form of music media. Additionally, Little Big Store has shipped records to me, and their packaging was thorough and protected my records from damage. I would definitely recommend this store.

Great store. You never know what you will find, something different all the time. I go for records, but there is a ton more than just records.

The Little Big Store is one of a kind where you can find unique items such as posters and T-shirts. They have vinyl albums from gospel to all kinds of rock and roll, big band, country. You name it and they have it. They also have CDs, 45 rpms, cassettes and 8-track. It is really an unbelievable store and shopping experience. The store has a very friendly and courteous staff and can answer any questions about your music choices and artists. My grandson and I try to visit at least once a month. He loves music and is always excited about finding his favorite artists. I highly recommend a visit to the Little Big Store.

Such a cool store. So many old albums and cds. The owners have been here for more than 30years and are very knowledgeable about everything they sell.

This record store is pretty much my basis of comparison of every record store I've ever been to. You can find some incredible finds here. Once you get over the sheer amount of wax to dig through, you're bound to find something you want. Happy digging.

my name is kurt moeller and this is my opinion of the little big store.... 1. the store itself is one of the most unique things that I have seen in the whole state of Mississippi. it is housed in an old railroad station in downtown Raymond and has a led zeppelin light keeper poster in one of its old windows that just fills your heart with joy when i see it. you just somehow know these people are different....2. When you walk in, right before your eyes are once again very relevant sculptures of music called vinyl records....3. as you walk through the cozy isles you see that this collection is very impressive to say the least. all of the old rock, country, blues, soul, classical, new age, just whatever you remember way back that may not even exist any more....4. I would shop here even if the staff were boring people, but you will never find more interesting, smart, and caring people than Betty and Merwin. they put my own musical knowledge to complete shame, and have even helped me order things. just one of a kind people in a one of a kind store. they should be respected by one and all.
