Just realized I hadn’t reviewed one of my very favorite shops in Austin! The wine selection here is incredibly special, and to say that the owner is knowledgeable about food and wine is a serious understatement. Great selection of NA beverages too, and at reasonable prices. Grateful to have this in the neighborhood!

I had such an amazing and unexpected experience at Cork & Brew Market. I met the owner, Raj, who is a wine connoisseur, and Walid who will help you find the perfect beer for your palette. Both were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. My experience was such a breath of fresh air after years of forced sales at Exxon on S. 1st due to “convenience”. The wine selection is plentiful and if you’re in doubt they can help you navigate to find the perfect selection and pair it with their wide selection of fine chocolates or the assortment of gourmet snacks that they offer. They also have a beer expert on staff (Walid!) that is happy to question your palette and flavor choices for the optimal selection of craft beers.

Very happy to welcome this gem to the neighborhood. The space is clean, well-lit, and feels safe. They offer a wide selection of wines ranging in price, fine chocolates, craft beers, and gourmet snacks at a very affordable price. This is now my go-to spot!

The epitome of what every neighborhood market should be! An eclectic mix of snacks, beer, and, wine - all high quality and appropriately priced. You’ll definitely discover something you love here. Decent range of cheeses/meats to make your own charcuterie. Tobacco, vapes, and delta 8 products are the best I’ve gotten in Austin so far and for a lower price than smoke shops.
The guys that run it are incredible - always so warm and so helpful.

Amazing selection of snacks and the food truck is in my top 3 since I got to Austin 5 years ago. Fantastic selection of local beer and the food truck has BEST fries I've ever had. Ever. Anywhere. And mind you, that is just a side. So the rest of the menu is also fantastic.

Going thru and deciding which snack, beverage and everything else they have to offer can take a minute because there are so many options, be sure to stop at the register first to put in your order!

This place is top notch. My partner is VERY into wine and Raj (co-owner and wine buyer) will pop open bottles for us to taste and provide THE BEST recommendations based on our preferences. Raj’s counterpart buys the beer and their selection beats any other place including Spec’s regardless of size. Can’t wait for their second location to open.

We've been on the hunt for Austin's best Chaat. If you're reading this, that means this place still has the best in the city. If anyone dethrones them, I'll update this review.

Ask for the samosa Chaat. It's not your regular kind. It lives on a bed of paneer, and is bright, sweet and aromatic. A lovely sprinkle of pomegranate seeds on top! Thank you. So good.

Best deal on a burger and fries. I asked for extra spicy... they deliver. Either way the food is fire!

Amazing gem! They have everything you can possibly want. A small coffee shop, great pastry selections (some from Sour Duck!), delicious snacks that are actually healthy, AWESOME beer selection, wine, and even sake! Also the owners are amazing. It's a family store and they're always super nice to our two-year old. I LOVE Cork & Brew!!!

Such an amazing find! Spectacular selection of beer and wine. The owners are so nice and always willing to talk to me about their wine and beer selection. The snacks and groceries have your health in mind. There is outdoor seating. There is also a food truck outside. Such great food with an Indian spin. Grab a bite to eat and then go in while your food is being made and check out the beer and wine selection. The prices are more than fair. The atmosphere is fun with music playing in the store. You have to check this place out! You won’t regret it.

Awesome customer service and selection of wine, beer, great appetizers, and a great Indian food truck. The owners are so welcoming and help you pick out the perfect wine or beer for your night. They even provide taste tests and will do whatever is needed to make you feel welcome.

Truly a gem on South Congress in South Austin!

Amazing business. Owners and staff go above and beyond for their customers. The owners know everything you could possibly want to know about wine, beer, and hard seltzer. Their prices are quite competitive for a small store with such a varied selection (lots of craft beers and foreign imports). They use very high quality products for their food stuffs and beverages. I love their espresso and breakfast tacos.

I dont buy beer anywhere else anymore - and that says a lot.

We love Cork & Brew! Huge selection of wine, beer and snacks! The owner has made several recommendations for us and we have loved everything he's suggested. Cork & Brew is everything I could want from a neighborhood market and eatery! All of their products are high quality and reasonably priced, the Indian food is excellent, and the staff is incredibly thoughtful, helpful, and committed to making the best store for the community. I'm very grateful to have them down the street!

Just stopped by for the first time yesterday. The place used to be a run down quick stop for beer and gas station snacks. The new owners have turned it into a beautiful store with groceries, great beer/wine selection, and Indian food. They also will be installing taps and have a backyard seating area soon too. Love what they've turned it into, great job!!

Love the product offerings. Very helpful for those with food allergies who are looking for delightful snacks. Appreciate the GF, non vegetable oil seed products. Also a good selection of gf and/or zero alcohol beers. Awesome food truck and vibe too.

Great, tight wine selection. Good recommendations. If you wanted to get started in a wine region this place has you covered. Great location relative to Travis Heights if you want to spin by to pick up a couple bottles. Will visit again. If you have friends coming to visit, tell them about this pace so they can stop and snag something to bring to dinner.

This place used to be ghetto as it gets, from the looks of it now, I guess the whole area has reached peak gentrification. Old South Austin will never be the same, it's losing it's cool just like the rest of downtown. But the clerk was very hospitable and it looks like they're serving the needs of all their new neighbors.

Highly recommend checking this place out! Owner was great and the store is super cool. The selection is hand-picked and the owner was able to help us pick a wine based off our likes/budget. Super friendly, clean, and interesting store!
