TOPS Friendly Markets

We have recently started to do more shopping at tops instead of Walmart. Offer more selections. Price alittle higher on somethings but they have sales also which helps. Store is always clean and well presented. Staff always helpful and nice. Plus you can always find someone to help you! Great job Tops! Oh plus you get a savings on gas!!

Great store and selection. Hopefully, delivery will happen soon. One thing to change is the days that only self checkout is open. That should never happen. Tops loses lots of business when only self checkout is open. Great donuts and bakery!!!!

I love this store! The staff is consistently friendly and helpful and the product is reliable. It is always clean and organized. Prices, especially when you utilize their bonus card, are more than reasonable.

Used to shop at Wegmans a lot in the past, but like the atmosphere and selection at TOPS.
Wegmans discounted a lot of products that I purchased, and pushed more of their brands on the customer.

Solid grocery store offering a wide variety of options for the area. Surprisingly solid vegan choices on offer for the mostly-rural location!

VERY nice store! Super clean, zero problems finding my items, and I love the layout. It's different than our regular Tops. Also, the way the debit machine is right there next to the screen at self-check, brilliant! I wish they all did that.

I love their bakery department. They make the best doughnuts around. I love the raspberry filled with the white power on top and they are the only ones that have them. They also make the best apple filled doughnuts with cinnamon on top. Yummy.

A great stop for any small thing you might need, food related that is. The staff are nice and the self checkout is mostly painless, great deals on meat usually every week aswell!

I love how friendly & helpful the staff is at TOPS! I know every one them by name and always get a warm smile and friendly bit of conversation when I'm in the store. 😊

I also enjoy the benefits I gain by using my TOPS Bonus Card! Every trip to the store it saves me substantial dollars that amount to BIG savings over time.

The points that also accumulate when I use the card are redeemable for discounted gas at TOPS' pumps, too. Another BIG HELP w/ prices that keep climbing to record highs!

The Watkins Glen Tops is excellent. It's an older store,but it's kept clean and organized. Customer service is great and the associates are helpful.

Tops staff is very helpful. I had asked if there was a chance they could a product in so I didn't have to go to 2 stores. The 1 front end manager is currently working on it.

Especially like the fact that they provide non-high fructose corn syrup ice cream, Tops own brand too, and it's as good as or better than other brands, and lower priced. Manager was very receptive when I called to ask a question, too. I like the staff, too.

Great store, great produce section.

Tops has quality products including meat and produce. The Tops store is modern and not too large to be overwhelming. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. The quality service is fast. There is a nice deli which features cooked meals as well. The bakery has a good selection including cookies, cakes, and pies.
Gas is available at this location. The store is located on the main street of Watkins Glen, and has a convenient parking lot.

Great customer service! Several clerks jumped in to help me troubleshoot where I may have lost my Visa card when I could not find it to pay for the purchase. I did not feel judged but instead supported. They even informed me of the option to pay through my phone and helped set up the app to do so, which helped pay the bill quickly. Not to mention their store stocks a larger variety of healthy wholesome food items unlike Walmart, whose focus is unloading processed food to the masses.

Every time we return to NY, we shop at TOPS. While at the Watkins Glen store, we had the chance to meet Dino, the store manager, and his staff. Helpful, friendly, kind and honest, they took care of my problem.

I was waiting on speaking to an employee while I was at Tops today, and the manager saw me and he stopped and said hello and talked with me for a few minutes and then went about his business, but it was just the fact that someone at the store manager level at other places act like they don't have time to stop and say hi to customers, but this gentleman at Tops made it a point to say hi to every customer he passed. Very friendly service. Definitely recommend going there if you want to be treated like someone of value.
