You can find all kinds of Japanese food and sauce here! Not very big but lots of options. Love its atmosphere.

I’m used to going to typical markets but since I arrived to Japan Village and realized they have a market filled with foods, snacks, drinks you literally can’t get anywhere else gives this location the highest rating possible, I even scooped up a couple snacks and a box of Japanese beer. Definitely coming back here soon.

By far the best Japanese market
In NYC. They put the super in supermarket. Fresh fish for sushi, thinly cut pork for shabu shabu, isles and isles of soy sauce and ponzu, you name it, they have it.

Japanese premium beef is also located in the store so ultra premium Wagu Beef is in the house.

Adjacent to the market is also a food court which offers a host of options from sushi to ramen and beyond. Come hungry for lunch and take home what you need for dinner. It’s win win.

You can also snack outside, fireside if you are so inclined.

Loved checking items out here. The prices are comparable to other markets around town. There is an abundance of snack items. Wished there were more sauces.
Excellent raw food items.

Do yourself a favor and buy this amazing dressing… walk to the vege fridge near the entrance and buy the Kamakaze dressing next to the kimchi. It’s similar to what you’d get at a Japanese restaurant only better. Don’t believe me? Try it and you’ll see. Eat it fresh as it doesn’t keep that long.

I really loved this place! They had so many snacks to choose from, so you have a good variety. The snacks are also cheap for being imported so that’s a plus. Everything I got was good but I think the Sailor Moon seltzers were the cutest!

Not the biggest selection of produce, but its serviceable. Amazing selection of Japanese snacks + drinks, however. They also have a butcher that sells A5 Wagyu along with a great selection of pork.

Good variety of Japanese foods and drinks. Top notch beef and exceptional fish. The supermarket is an experience and provides great packaged and frozen foods. The food court has fresh sushi, soups and baked goods.a must. Don't miss the sake Shop around the corner.

Outstanding selection of Japanese food products and home staples. The fish is flown in fresh regularly throughout the week and even used by the local sushi vendors.

Patrons can easily purchase cuts of sushi grade Toro, salmon, hamachi and octopus.

If you prepare Japanese food at home you will find this place a pleasure to shop in.

Tip: Although many products have English labels, I recommend that you put the Google image translator app on your phone. This will enable your ability to understand package writing and nutrition labels as well.

OMG I can live in this place..so many Japanese snacks and foods. Bought three different kinds of mushrooms that are hard to find elsewhere and Mocha KitKat bar? I am here for it

The one place in Brooklyn that doesn't have moldy onions!!! For real.

Such a cute market for Asian groceries. Their Kimchi is delicious.

If you like Japanese food, just visit this market. Fresh and frozen fish, frozen food and snacks. Japanese soft drinks and beers. Toiletries, teas and coffees. The food court is really good too

Everything here is extremely pricey compared to more local supermarkets but the sashimi and uni is pretty good quality and not too expensive. They even help you cut the sashimi after you paid for it and give you soy sauce and wasabi.

Found some black sesame paste and sesame deserts here , so it’s definitely a success. Also they have every flavor Kit Kat here, worth going to take a look around, you might find something delicious you never knew existed

I used to visit the location in Manhattan all the time, but having a Sunrise Mart in Brooklyn is even better. It's also very similar to Mitsuwa (in Jersey) because it has a bunch of small restaurants inside as well. The oni giri was perfect!

A great place to get sashimi. They have fresh juicy otoro, usually only two or three pieces so it depends how lucky you are. We always buy sashimi and other Japanese groceries here, making our own Japanese cuisine at home.

Good place for specific ingredients- fresh sushi pieces if you’re into that
