Sweet!

We drove past Gretels Candy House a few different times on our last vacation to the Myrtle Beach area in October. It definitely calls you to the establishment! The building is great! Looks just like what you would see in Hansel and Gretel with life-size candy trees, and gingerbread figures. When you step inside, it has everything you could possibly need! Chocolate , candies, foreign treats, and so much more. There is a clearance rack in case you need something for your children’s budgets. Just a fun place overall! My kids really enjoyed going in and checking out all there was to offer and actually had a really hard time deciding what to buy because there is a ton to choose from! All of my 8 kiddos left with bags! We will definitely be back!

Gretel’s Candy House is so cute, colorful, inviting and fun! So many candy options. You can’t see everything in one visit.

The CUTEST little shop! We drove 20min. Down the beach to come to Gretels over sugar life! So glad we did! The sweetest staff! It was worth the trip! Our kids are obsessed! Make sure to grab a photo out front too 😍

Absolutely amazing experience there! They had every single type of candy you could possibly think of,even older candy that I haven't seen in years! I'm so happy with my purchases! I would definitely go again!

A fun place to visit! The candy selection is amazing. A huge variety of almost every type of sweets and treats you can think of. Nostalgic candy, themed treats, souvenir items, toys, novelties, and beverages. The staff is helpful, friendly, smiling…store was fun, fully stocked, and clean. They have just about every flavor of salt water taffy you can imagine. Several kinds of chocolate candies, malt balls, licorice, gummies, etc. Sugar-Free candies, vegan candy available also. Free lollipops for the kids with your purchase. Great photo ops. Free parking. There’s also a fantastic homemade ice cream shop next door.

Pressie was amazing! She was so very kind and donated these lovely baskets to our nursing home ministry for the residents gift auction through our church Pier Georgio Frassati Catholic Church! I can’t wait for one of the residents to win one! I will post pictures of the winners! Thank you so much!

I need to stop driving past this place with my son he loves it. I love it. If candy is your thing, then this is the place for you. Lots of candy you can buy by weight and a never-ending assortment of random candy all over. Great selection. They have toys also for the kids, so if you're bringing the little ones in with you, have that cash ready this shopping spree won't be cheap.

A Candy Wonderland!!! Awesome candy store that you will find just about any candy you can think of from older candies to new. Staff was friendly and very helpful. If you are in the area and have a sweet tooth or just passing by, it's definitely a store you want to check out. Overall, a great little Candy House 🍬 🍫 🍭

We had a blast browsing Gretel's Candy House. 🍬 They have a seemingly endless variety of pre-packaged and bulk candies, including old-fashioned brands from childhood.
Prices were pretty average, but we still managed to spend quite a bit. It's easy to get carried away.
Definitely worth a look. And the exterior makes for an excellent photo! 😍📷

Great experience. Almost any candy you can imagine. Right inside the door, I found one of the candies I've loved since I was a boy. You can bet that anytime I find myself back in the area, I'll be stopping by again.

I was instantly transported back to my old candy store where i bought "sour power" 5 strings for a quarter and placed in a small brown bag. It's a great place to get awesome candy, great pictures, and a sugar rush. I love going to places with my family and making memories.

So many choices between sweet and sour and all kinds of chocolates. The place is super cute. A must stop for families. Much better than the chain candy stores up and down the highway. The staff was so sweet and helpful and the music selecting was fun and lively.

This lovely lady made up 2 wonderful baskets for our Nursing ministry for 2 lucky recipients at the Assisted Living event today. I can’t wait to come in for my grandchildren’s Easter treats! Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

This place is amazing! We came down to Myrtle Beach to see Imber Solis play at the Hard Rock Cafe and are so glad we stumbled upon this shop. The owner was so helpful and the place was magical!

Absolute hidden gem! So cute and much enjoyed because it's not a basic chain place. The lady that was working was beyond sweet and helpful. My kids, husband and myself enjoy the attention to detail with house cute it was inside and out. Definitely will be back to enjoy more candy!

We saw the billboard on our way into Myrtle Beach for a trip and it hooked us in. As soon as my daughter saw it she really wanted to go. She absolutely loved this store and is begging us to go back. There is so much it's almost overwhelming, but it does make it a fun family stop where you may find a special treat for you or the fam. The layout of the store was good and it was clean. The staff were all very friendly and helped with any questions we had. They do have a great selection of Harry Potter candies, which was a treat for my daughter. If you are in need of a sweet tooth fix, stop into Gretels Candy House today, enjoy!

The BEST selection of candy I’ve ever seen in my life! The kind, older gentleman with the accent was so sweet (no pun intended) and helpful! I’ve never seen so many types of candy before! The cutest place EVER!

A cute little candy shop! We enjoyed looking around at both modern & nostalgic candy as well as some toys we loved the fun decor and cute touches like the dripping chocolate fudge

LOVE this store! The outside is so cute and fun you just know it will have a great selection inside. The variety of candy was awesome! So many kinds and flavors to choose from! I'm on a taffy kick lately and was wonderfully surprised at the variety.

The place was wonder ful. Love how they carry all kinds of candy's from now to when i was a chid. Their price is worth the time spent. Made me feel young again
