Away

We had bought one of the larger, semi hard shell suitcases, and during a trip airport baggage resulted in cracks in the top part of the frame by the zipper , and anotherone at one of the wheel area. The bag is several years old, at least. We contacted the company they sent a perfect replacement and instructions to use the same box to return the old one. It worked very well, and we are very happy with the service provided by AWAY. Clearly a good company to work for and we were very happy with the service. I see no problem with the suitcase itself but think heavy handling at baggage area was the cause. The suitcase has the expected scrapes on the sides, but I fully feel this is expected if we’re going to do check your luggage. These semi hard plastic shells are always going to get some scratches on them. Signs you do a lot of excellent traveling! Unless it penetrates into the carrier, we just ignore them. We will continue to shop with them.

I’ve been a big fan of Away for years and have a few pieces in my travel collection. I was in Seattle and have never been to an Away store so I wanted to check out some of the new collection. The staff was helpful and I was able to make a purchase smoothly.

You had me at “Hello” since 2019!! Love my away luggages. They take a really good beating as I travel often. I also purchased a Monos large luggage 🧳 to compare to. The Monos luggage 🧳 is lighter then Away, however scuffs easily.

I honestly still prefer Away. Feels much more durable to me.

The sand and maroon 🧳are mine. The coast is my daughter, Kaylah’s.

I plan on purchasing one more large Away luggage.

My wife and I have been lurking on getting Away luggage for a while. When we found this store we were so happy so we can see the bags in person. As for product it’s definitely worth the price. We’re a big believer in buying once and these bags definitely hit that bill. There so much functionality to them and they look awesome!

The staff at this store are very helpful also. One shoutout was Jaime. We had bought a big tech bag and one of the bigger check in luggage. I had mentioned I wanted a green tech bag but they only had the coast or blue in stock. I went ahead and bought the blue to see how I liked it. Away has a great return policy so I was going to return it if I didn’t like the color. A couple hours later Jaime called to let me know that the bigger tech bag did not come in green and she wanted to make sure that I wasn’t disappointed if I wanted that color. Someone going out of the way to call us with that was so awesome and made me feel so much better spending the money for Away. It’s a small detail but it’s those details that mean so much more in customer care. Away has customers for life!

Speaking to the store (not the products), I was really appreciative of the staff allowing me to try each thing I was interested in, including taking them off the shelf, opening everything up, and sampling different colors. Can't wait for my first Away piece!

I came to the store so I could see the bags in person. I've looked at them on line for a long time, but I am getting ready for a trip and wanted a new carry on bag that would fit under the seat on the plane. The Everywhere Bag is perfect! The store is lovely, very nicely laid out, and everyone working there was extremely helpful and friendly. Yay Away!

My away suitcase was left on a hotel stove and it burned and I told this to Away, planning to buy another one. They really quickly sent me a FREE one. Their suitcases are great, but their service is a whole 'nother level. I'm a customer for life now.

Found the luggage online, and wanted to see it in real life. My wife and I travel about 3 months a year and thought Away might fit us well.

Kristen (the manager?) was both incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She listened to what our travel needs were and never pushed more than we were looking for. She turned a strongly thinking about/maybe into a purchase of multiple sets and accessories. Fantastic product.

The store is bright, clean, and inviting. Due in large part to the welcoming knowledgeable staff. Today J Clancy (sorry I didn’t grab a first name) was especially kind and efficient. I will continue to shop in person at this store and refer friends and family.

I’m going to give this a 5 star review reflective of the service and efficiency of the staff during check out. Very friendly and happy to help answer questions. There were a couple of sold out colors but that isn’t their fault.
Note: My suitcase did not come packaged once purchased (they just handed me the suitcase).
