I bought my wife a BUNCH of plates, mugs, pitcher, oil lanterns, dishes, soap dispensers, serving platters, baking crocks, sponge holder, and more from this man 3 years or so ago and NOT ONE piece has even chipped, let alone broken. She was able to pick out what pattern she liked best and then he made it all by hand for her. It was a bit expensive but all of it was hand made, how she wanted it, had no added chemicals and such in the clay, and he even made a few custom pieces for us.

He doesn't really do a lot of 'pretty' pottery just for looks, he mostly makes functional pottery for every day use. We eat off, bake, microwave, and everything else you can think of on ours and we LOVE IT !!! I can't say it enough, after 3+ years of constant every day use, not one piece even has a chip. There is no reason to believe it shouldn't last us the rest of our lives. We actually want to go back to get a few more pieces. 100% recommend him !!
