The people that work the late night shift here are really friendly, welcoming, and helpful - which is a surprise especially in the overnight hours.
For example one clerk let me know about a buy one get one free for the item I was getting, and another clerk cracked jokes to make the late night hour less creepy.
It's the only place open to shop if you work awkward hours and it doesn't suck.

I have been coming to this Walgreens location in Southern Highlands for some time now. I love the convenience in relation to my my house.

I have never had any issue with this location since I have been coming and the staff is always very kind and courteous as well as the pharmacists.

The only minor issue is this location can get crazy busy so try and go during non peak hours. Parking can be crazy since they have built up so much around it, but other than that I love the location. They keep a very clean and well stocked store despite how busy it gets!

All the workers are nice and respectful. I come in late at night for a study snack and they always give out good vibes. Not to mention the night shift manager could be Priest's sibling 😎.

Pharmacy- Got my second COVID shot here. The ladies at the Pharmacy were nice and quick! A much better experience than my first dose at a different location.

Absolutely the rudest people and worst customer service. I picked up my prescriptions today and asked them to Apple the Good Rx discount they refused. I had to pay almost $500 instead of $70

I talked to Dan the pharmacy manager and he made things right and refunded the difference.

The pharmacy is consistently delayed with filling prescriptions. It is never ready on time. Then they sign you up for text messages to notify you when it’s ready. So when you get a text, and go pick up your drugs… ITS STILL NOT READY. Who is the regional that is in charge of this location, it needs some attention!!

I go to get my passport photo taken at the photo lab and the older woman that is working was on her phone & talked to an employee 5 mins before she attended us. Then she proceeds to tell me the gentleman was using the restroom that knows how to take the passport photos. Later she tells me he’s busy right now and won’t be able to. She said “I can take it for but it’s not guaranteed that they will of approve of the photo.” First of all why is she working the photo lab if she can’t offer those services. Second you’re basically telling me I’m gonna waste my money if you do it. Horrible service.

I just called Walgreens to fill a prescription and somebody hung up in my face, I called back she hung up again. I went to the store respectfully to ask why they were hanging up in people face because this not the first time this happened it usually only happen on night shift. A heavy set black lady (they said her name is TY or Tye) I don’t know if that’s her name but that’s what they said was very rude and yelling at me very loud when I was respectful the whole time. A manager named JAMES who’s always outstanding and helpful said he would talk to the manager for me, and he told me he heard the whole conversation. I’ll also be calling corporate.
I asked her name because I see they don’t wear name tags and she said she don’t gotta give me her name.

All of this happened because they don’t respect their customers.

James the store manager was a great help as always. But something needs to be done in the pharmacy department.

I cannot even imagine a worse pharmacy than this one. TWICE in the past two months we have received the wrong prescription! Imagine what would happen if we had paid as little attention to what drug we were taking as the staff there paid to what they dispense.

We just waited an HOUR in line to be told the prescription was “waiting for insurance approval.” We said we would just pay for it instead after the long wait, they replied that we would have to come back later as it wasn’t ready anyway. After an HOUR waiting — it’s asinine the level of service…or total lack thereof. Any other pharmacy would make a mint if they came in this area to compete.

Had an appointment for a flu and covid shot. Stood in line for 45 minutes just to get to the counter and by the time I got there I felt so faint and nauseated I had to sit down. The worker tells me “it’s going to be awhile until we can get your shots”. Hello, I’ve been waiting 45 minutes already WITH an appointment. I had to leave the store because I was so lightheaded from standing in line for so long that I knew I was going to throw up if I didn’t get outside. Horrific service, chronically understaffed and I will NEVER use this Walgreen’s again.

This location’s pharmacy on Southern Highlands has to be the worst! Every time I pick up meds, I have to wait 30 minutes whether in-store or at the drive through. Once I dropped off prescription to be filled, just Ibuprofen and an antibiotic at 10am; by 7pm, I called and meds still weren’t ready. Those meds are super common. I’m unsure what this pharmacy’s problem is. I will be switching over to Smith’s which is located in the same shopping area. If you do not want to wait forever for your meds, try elsewhere. In the pic, I waited 30 minutes that day for meds I was told was ready for pick up. I believe I was 9th in line.

I've been using the Walgreen’s at Southern Highlands in Las Vegas drugstore for several years. I normally use the drive-thru because I believe it is faster than going inside. WRONG! It actually doesn't matter because you'll be waiting a long time either way!

During the last four months...I not only waited over an hour at the drive-thru, at least one prescription was not ready for pickup. I have received somebody else’s medication on TWO separate OCCASIONS. Today — a person in front of me had also received someone else's medication, and one of my medications was not "ready for pickup" despite the fact that the doctor had called it in two days earlier!!!

This Walgreens MUST DO BETTER! Giving someone else's prescription to the wrong customer is not only negligent, it is also exceedingly dangerous!

If this is your pharmacy, BEFORE YOU LEAVE, PLEASE CHECK INSIDE THE STAPLED BAG TO MAKE SURE IT IS YOUR MEDICATION. The bag they gave me had the right information — it was the wrong bottle of prescription medicine inside the stapled bag…TWICE!

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. They constantly lie about when your medication is done and don’t even answer the phone so you have to waste your time going in to talk to them

The worst pharmacy. Be prepared to wait in a line 15 people deep at any given time. No help. Nobody cares. Absolutely avoid this pharmacy.

It's been over 15 minutes of them putting me on hold without answering after I was transferred. I just wanted to get a script filled. after 6 times of put me on hold, I started saying into the phone "Wait, wait, wait!" to have them stop holding me and then hanging up with no explanation so I have to keep holding, and the person got extremely sarcastic and rude with me, interrupting my explanation to say, "We don't hang up on people." Right, but you shouted something into the phone and then put me on HOLD and hung up the receiver, which you would've heard if you'd stop interrupting. I don't think expecting just an explanation after 6 times of being shouted at and then put back on hold is unreasonable.

Honestly, I feel like the people at this store need far more support if they can't answer the phones without being extremely rude. There are not enough employees at this location, and its going to start losing Walgreens business. Fund your employees instead of cutting corners.

I’ve been to this walgreens several times and the last 3 times now i speak to someone, they say they’ll fill my prescription. I wait even longer than what they say it’ll take, i wait 30 minutes in line only to find out they either never filled it or don’t have it at all. Terrible customer service. You are better off switching to a CVS nearby.
