We had a fantastic meal here. Knowing that we aren't familiar with the dish, the owner showed us how. The service is impeccable yet not intrusive. The fish, dill and veggies are fresh. We were also given free soup, porridge, dessert too. Felt so at home!

Value for money, exceptional taste with incredibly friendly staffs. Even the owner came down to help us with our dishes. After we finished eating, we were offered 3 DIFFERENT desserts for FREE. I cannot explain how happy I am experiencing dining here. Recommend 100% for everyone to come!

After trying a few different Cha Ca around Hanoi. I can undoubtedly say this is by far the best and I'll be coming back.

Authentic vietnamese grilled fish (with dill) restaurant. The fried spring rolls are to die for - they served us free fish soup and free coconut jelly for dessert. Enjoyed the cozy, familial atmosphere. Cheers xx ^^ !

My my my, this family restaurant is amazing! The service is fantastic, the fish is super tender and not fishy at all. The veggies are so fragrant, it could be the healthiest and most delicious meal we had in Hanoi. We got also some free soup, free porridge and free dessert!

The grilled fish is very good and the fish soup made of rice (the congee) is super impressive. The lady was super helpful and friendly to teach us how to ‘cook’ the fish and served us different fish soups and dessert. Fish spring rolls are very good too!

Amazing food must try if you're in town and the price is great for what you get, the owners are super friendly and taught us how to eat since we are not from here!! Highly recommended 💯

If I can rate this diner 6 stars or 7 stars, I would.

The experience was beyond good. The food was amazing, the fish fillet is crisp and firm and though it seems like a small portion, people usually prefer eating a lot of vegetable (with green onion and dill) and rice vermicelli with the shrimp paste. It blew my mind that the fish fillet was not the center of this dish!

We were taught by the sweet family to put the veggie underneath the fish so the pan wouldn’t over-fry and burn it. They offered a very good service, the daughter was friendly, smiley and helped us all the way to the finish line - especially when they saw us clumsy with this dish. And we were touched by this service, it’s not 5-star restaurant perfection but it is like eating with your family. Someone had reviewed before, “a very sweet family in an unpretentious restaurant at a decent price”.

After, they offered us a soup made from the fish you can eat with the rice vermicelli too. Then, they gave us 2 bowls of fish porridge (pepper, dill, same fish) AND coconut jelly cups for this hot season. Constant surprises, we were in awe!!

I hoped you would keep this service and spirit for a long time and only specialized in Cha Ca so you could bring much good time to many many customers.

This is a fantastic restaurant, and it offers great value for money. The quality of the food is excellent and the portions are generous. The dining room is kept very clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We ate here twice during our time in Hanoi, and since returning home I've remarked several times about how much I wish we could return.

Perfect place for cha ca for 1/solo travelers!

Most places only offer cha ca for at least 2 pax - hence its great that this place offers a smaller portion and with great taste!!

The dish itself was very flavorful; the staff will help cook the fish and herbs and serve you; though you can also opt to cook it yourself which is overall a fun experience. Veg/herb was extremely fresh, and can be refilled for free.

First time eating Cha ca La Vong, and Bang! It was sooo good! What a great surprise! We came around 4pm when the staff was taking a rest but they got up and served only 2 of us. They was so polite, kind and offering. They kept asking if we need more salads and herbs, they offered us a lot more than we ordered! The price was very cheap! I like to come here more if i could! Thank you so much!

Great price and freshly made daily. The combo is comprehensive - grilled fish, greens, noodles, soup, congee and desert. It's a family owned and the service is top notch! Highly recommended if you want to experience the authentic Cha Ca (grilled fish) with high quality fish!

Food was delicious and the hospitality was great too! The owner helped teach us how to cook the Cha Ca which was much appreciated. She even gave us complimentary congee and desert which we had not ordered. All of the food was very tasty and can't recommend this place enough! 10/10 :)

Excellent meal full of flavour, the owner and staff were very kind, helpful and generous with the portions. So yummy!

This place is definitely much better than Cha Ca Thanh Long. Better quality, service and environment. Highly recommended.
