Napoli Hostel

One of the most amazing hostels I've stayed anywhere in the world and definitely my favourite in Vietnam so far. The location is ideal and the owner Gem is so friendly and helpful, always going to extra effort to sort anything you need for your stay, including scooters, boat cruises, tours of tourist sites, laundry etc. The rooms are very new, with bed sheets and everything else spotless clean, plus the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The pool table in the communal area also makes it great for meeting people. Amazing value, especially with the good breakfast included. Staying here made my Cat Ba experience the best possible. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit! Thanks Gem!

Very clean and fresh place. Location is great - close to all necessary facilities - grocery stores, restaurants, 5 min walk to promenade, 20 min walk to the nearest beach and to Cannon fort. At the same time place is not on the road - so it’s pretty quiet. Breakfast sets are various and good. Manager Gem is very helpful and thoughtful and provides great service. Very good snooker table downstairs. Laundry, bike rental, ATM services. Stayed here for a month - because it’s best value for money.

Rooms, service and location... Everything is of super good quality and price is so less. You also get free breakfast in the morning. I stayed here for 3 nights and it was super nice. There's hairdryer right outside the washroom and the host/owner is so nice. She's very sweet and makes you feel super comfortable.

This was a great hostel! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect, close walk to anything you need. Breakfast is free and there are a lot of good options to choose from. It's a newer hostel so everything is new and very clean. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in Cat Ba a few days.

Stayed for 5 nights, had a great time. Hostel is quite new, rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. Breakfast was included (had to pick one of 6 choices). Location was central as well.

It’s a pretty good hostel for the price. The owner/receptionist is very kind and helpful. The beds are clean. The free breakfast was not vegan friendly unfortunately, but if you are not vegan you will enjoy it. They give you a whole menu to choose from. I only had hot water in the shower for about two minutes and then it quickly went cold. I had to turn it off and wait about ten minutes before finishing my shower.

Very impressed by the hostel!!! I booked for one night but ended up staying several nights. It is very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Feels like sleeping in clouds haha.. The bathroom is also very clean and comes with the basic toiletries. The breakfast is delicious and the host is amazing!!! She's very friendly and I felt like home the moment I stepped in the hostel. The pool table is one of the best ones I've played on in vietnam. I 100% recommend this hostel!

Very good, in fact it was a surprise. I only stayed for 2 nights and I really wanted to stay longer. The room was impeccably clean, well located, with all the necessary amenities. It even had a balcony where you could sit and work. The owner of the hotel was really sweet, helped rent a motorcycle, gave recommendations of places to visit that were very good and even helped rent a bus to Ninh Binh, at the cheapest price I could find.
The only setback/problem, there is no elevator and the room was on the top floor, 4th floor

Amazing hostel although I stayed in private room. It was great. I planned to stay one night and stayed three. The owner is super lovely and looked after me very well. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice and quiet place to stay in Catba centre. The staff and Gem in particular were so welcoming. Gem speaks good English which is very convenient. She was very helpful to give tips and book activities, transportation for me during my stay. I did a nice 2 days/1 night cruise in the Lan Ha bay which was very nice because it was a small group of 7 people and far less crowded than the big boats and the Halong bay. The hotel is close to all nice restaurants and the beach. Very well located. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Cat ba island. Gem is a very friendly and professional host.

The host Gem was very kind and welcoming, gave great suggestions on things to do and affordable bike rentals. Showers were good and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was also very delicious!!!

Sick hostel in the centre of Cát bà with very cheap price, the rooms and beds are sooo comfy and the personnel super nice. I had a really nice time here 🤠

Everything was perfect, good mattress and bathroom, close to everything. Give us a lot of recommandation in what to do and you can even book with them.

Cong Khanh Hotel is located at the center of Cat Ba town. Both private and mix-shared rooms are available at budget-friendly prices - clean rooms with good air-conditioners, medium-sized windows , and comfortable beds. It's walking distance to the local market, a public beach, a few tourist attractions, and even the party scene. There's a lot of restaurants to choose from, catering to almost any cuisine. Hotel staff were helpful booking bus rides to most of Vietnam's other amazing towns. They also offer affordable, action-packed, and fun-filled activities for those adrenaline junkies. I absolutely recommend this place to any traveler visiting Vietnam.

One of best hotel at Cat Ba town. Clean and Modern. Host Is really amazing Cong and the other guy I forgot name both speak good English. 24 hour front desk was really helpful. They provided me the best price for Halongbay Tour and Bus to the Hanoi and rent Bikes. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wanna stay. If I come back to Kuwait I never think twice to choose this place as my accomodation

Great deal, one of the best during our trip. Our room was better than most 20+usd places per night in Vietnam. Comfy, very clean, the AC was silent and we had proper windows :) Staff spoke good English. WiFi was stable and quite fast. The location is just few mins from the pier. We recommend it fully if you look for a good deal in Cat Ba!
