Backpacker Ha Giang Central

Totally recommended! David, the owner, has been extremely hospitable and helpful since we arrived till we left Ha Giang at the end of the loop. The accommodation is brand new, simple but clean and with cold aircon. The motorcycle was brand new, only 2500km on the clock, and it behaved safely throughout the whole trip.
When we arrived we knew a few alternatives for the loop but David helped us with recommendations since he used to be a tour guide. He speaks very good English. Ask for special price if you’re staying on the hostel ;)

The only downside, we had lunch and it wasn’t that good. Hopefully will get better.

David is super helpful and offers excellent service with his company. From routing recommendations to to the motorbike, which was brand new, to the booking of our bus to ninh binh. The shower after the ride (last day) he offered was the cherry on the cake. Can only advise you to go here and have great fun riding the ha giang loop. Will def. Be back one day to revisit and stay at davids wonderfull place..

Amazing gút chóp

I recently went on a tour with this operator and was extremely disappointed. Despite being one of the cheapest options, their advertising of English guided tours was completely false. None of the guides were able to speak English, except for the owner who didn't even join the tour. While the guides were friendly and kind (they are the best of rhe experience, sadly) it was frustrating to not have someone who could properly explain the sights we were visiting. Additionally, the rooms we were promised were not as advertised. Instead of having our own room, we were forced to share for both nights. And to top it off, the routes they took us on were treacherous and dangerous. We were brought down untouristy roads that were unpaved, full of rocks and sand, and required extreme confidence in riding a scooter. On the last day, we were made to drive over 150km without any breaks because the tour was trying to combine a 3-day and 4-day tour due to a lack of participants. It was a complete mess and we didn't even get to see everything that was promised on the 4-day tour. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this tour operator.

If I give 2 stars is because our guide was so nice with us.

I booked via internet and I choose until 23h for the check-in. We arrived by bus a little bit later (before 00h) and everything was closed. We called the number and nobody answered. So we had to look for another stay in the middle of the night and of course we paid so much more. That's not fair at all, we don't recommend it

Rooms are not like the pictures in booking, had to leave and find another place. Not cool
