An handmade - Hemp fabric gift shop

This is the shop I had been searching for in my 4-week visit to Vietnam. All unique and high-quality goods, unlike many of the vendors/shops in the Old Quarter — and for reasonable prices.

My husband and I did the Ha Giang Loop in the north last week, which introduced us to some of the lovely and diverse ethnic minority groups that live in the Ha Giang province — and also to the beautiful textiles that are unique to that area. But unfortunately we didn’t have enough space in our bag to purchase any textiles while we were in the north.

But luckily we stumbled upon An Handmade shop the day we came back to Hanoi! The shop carries only one-of-a-kind textiles and crafts that are all handmade by communities in the north of Vietnam. And some of the proceeds go toward supporting these communities. We bought several items here, including lots of great gifts for family and friends. And to top it off, the shop owner told us about the origins of the items we bought, and gave us her card in case we have questions about any of the items later on. We are so glad to have found this shop!

Lovely shop if you like handmade fabrics. Bought 2 beautiful scarves with natural dyes and shibori patterns. Very nicely made and unique items.

Fantastic shop near the St. Joseph’s Cathedral. I found it while walking back to the hotel and were lost in its amazing colorful hemp world. The shop owner said that all their handy stuffs came from northern mountainous and one large of their profit would develop local ethnic people’s life there. Honestly, it is unique among many mass souvenir shops in the Old Quarter. I bought a lovely day bag and a notebook for myself, plus some small items as gifts. I will definitely introduce this shop to my friends.

Awesome little shop, a real gem! Found myself a crossbody bag there. They have so much special stuff and if you want to see more, they even bring it to you from their other shop a little bit up the street.

Stopped by here this morning just to browse, and I ended up making several purchases. Each item in the shop is handcrafted by the Hmong women so you know you are supporting the local economy and its artists. Nhung and her assistant were very helpful, attentive and made me feel confident in my choices. In addition they were kind enough to personally wrap and inscribed each purchase. Attention to personal details is always appreciated!! Recommend you stop in.

This shop is so beautiful it is outstanding in old quarter of Hanoi, they sell the real handmade products from the north mountains of Vietnam, the things they sell is supporting for the ethnic minorities living on the in the north mountains region.

Wonderful hemp shop, i took some purses and a hand bag. The man at the shop was so kind and tell us alot about the ethnic groups.

Good store for souvenirs, lovely stuffs from ethnic tribes, natural fabrics from hemp, cotton. Highly recommended.

A fantastic shop with authentic handicraft made by Vietnamese minorities. A percentage of sales also goes towards supporting the minority groups. Nhat had great knowledge about each product and was very helpful and patient.

Very unique and friendly staff ! The items stands out from the other gift shops of Hanoi. I bought a super cute fish shaped wallet that I am so in love with !

I have been to this shop.it is located in center of old quarter where opposite famous Ly Quoc Su noodle “Phở 10” and on the way to big cathedral. The handmade is made brocade fabric.you can found everything here to by for gifts such as table runner, mats, bag scarf … it’s very nice! Especially the shop owner was so friendly. 5 stars for service
