Hoang Ha Rivertown Hotel

I think it's the best hotel me and my wife have stayed in Vietnam by far.
Big and clean room. Fridge in it. Really comfortable bed. Also, the hotel it's pretty new. We came for 3 nights and then overstayed for one week. Staff very helpful and kind. Motorbike rental for a good price on site.
Yen bai, it's a beautiful town not to far from Hanoi but surrounded by nature, friendly people, not noisy,and good food around. The city it's beautiful and the infrastructure quiet new. Worth all the way visiting this town

Stayed here overnight on our way to Sapa.The hotel is in front of a river and close by the town center. It's a big hotel equipped with an elevator. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. There's a fridge and snacks for purchase inside the room, water is complimentary. The bathroom was large and there's water heater. Great value for all the amenities included.

The male staff was very accommodating. He was a life saver, giving us bungee cords for free but we insisted to pay for it. He has the most genuine smile and always ready to help.

Stayed here overnight on my way back to Hanoi from Sapa. I was very happy with the service and the staff were super friendly. They even invited me to have dinner and drinks with them and it was such a good time. I would definitely use this as a place for layover. The location is perfect as you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the town and irrs very relaxing.

The room is clean, the bed is super comfortable and soft, the AC and the fan works super well. Has funky led lights in the ceiling. I made a few friends there overnight and I would go back to meet these people.

My son and I stayed here. Large twin room, good beds, balcony, TV and spotlessly clean. Staff excellent. Organised hire of scooter and very helpful. Highly recommend to stay here whilst visiting Yen Bai and surrounding area. Great cafe next door called Nisha.

One of the best welcoming hotel where I was in my life, the owners and employees were really kind to me, I just arrived really late after a long and wet trip by motorbike, they had invited me to eat a huge fest with them and didn't even make me pay for this.
It was really great, the real Vietnamese welcoming !!!

How can you go wrong for under 200k VND ($10 AUD). The room had a comfy bed, tv, fridge, and seperate seating area.

We arranged a room either no window as this was just a quick stop over trip so not looking for any luxury.

It is a bit out of the main town, on a river that doesn’t really flow. Staff were respectful and accommodating to any requests. Great value for the price we paid, this was clearly a classy hotel in its gay day.

Only comment would be that the walls could be cleaned and a better shower head would make it better.

Stayed at this hotel before travelling to Sapa, would definitely recommend, the rooms are very clean and has everything you need also with hot water which is amazing in the colder months. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need, we even joined them in the evening having some food and chilling by the fire at the coffee next door. Mr. Cuong the receptionist staff is very warm and welcoming unlike other Vietnamese that you should worry about! Amongst the area we found places with some scary review but glad we got this place, so I mean it when recommend this place!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Staff were so friendly and helpful, really lovely location by the water, and the room was large and comfortable. Highly highly recommend it

I have booked in many hotels in the north of Vietnam, this is without a doubt the best value for money, everything very clean, super friendly staff, garage for the motorcycle... SUPER RECOMMENDED!

Stayed here overnight on the way to SaPa. Really nice clean big room. Garage for the motorbike. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Recommended.

I am a motorcycle traveler. I stayed at this hotel while traveling from Sapa to Hanoi. This hotel was very clean for the price and the room was spacious and had a window and balcony.
Also, the hotel owner is very considerate and kind.
I highly recommend it to you all

Very new clean hotel, was a pleasure to stay there, stored our luggage, organised a taxi and motorbike hire for us. Elevator, 24hr check in, motorbikes stored in the large garage for security. Even had my washing done for me.

In a city devoid of good hotels this one is the best. Good location and nice staff that replaced a TV that wasnt working.

I went to Yen Bai a few days ago, the customer service was incredible. The rooms was picture perfect, and the location was pin point accurate. Amazing.
