The Old Anchor

Lovely atmosphere! The food is of high quality, that kind of “made by the locals” type. Vegetables used in the salad are grown by the owners. The waiting time is longer than you expect, but if you want to have a good meal I suggest to have patience and enjoy a cold beer first. The prices were great, we had salads and tzatziki as starters and then continued with the soup and fish. Overall I can say that it was in my top 5 meals I’ve had while staying in Albania for a week.

This was a wonderful experience to stay 4 nights at the Old Ancor. Located at one of the last club free and long empty beaches with wonderful water, it was so mellow vibe and fabulous to relax Here mid of Sept. George and his team are super friendly and all dishes are so delicious. The tents have lots of space and beds are comfortable. Beautiful sunsets included. We felt absolutely happy at this non glamorous place. Got the invitation to go out to the sea with George on his boat - priceless. The road down to the beach is a bit challenging but absolutely doable also with a normal car - just take your time and go slowly down and up in first or max second gear… we will come back for sure…

Beautiful not crowded beach with good espresso and exotic watermelon salad with goat cheese and mint served by a young English speaking guy.

Super nice place just on the beach. Amazing house food, the fish was delicious. This is a family business where you can eat traditional food, grown and cooked by them. Highly recommended, just be sure to arrive early as the kitchen closes at 9 pm

Drive here immediately after leaving the mountains or Tirana. Get some raki and eat the most descent fish in Albania. George the owner is a gentelmen and everyone is incredibly friendly. Spend one night, or two, or theee, whatever

This beach was amazing! The food was delicious and the owner unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return and stay longer then a few hours.

Si è mangiato bene, servizio un po' lento ma perché pieno unico bar sulla spiaggia pezzi buoni formaggio, pesce grigliato ottimo. Ad agosto ombrellone e due lettini 15 euro mare un po' torpido ma bel paesaggio. Attenzione alla strada per arrivarci lunga e a limite dell'accessibilità
