The Stone of the City is located in the city of Përmet, 250 m above sea level. The City Stone is considered the symbol of the city's identity. It has scientific (geological, geomorphological), didactic, ecological and cultural values.

This huge stone interrupts the city streets to let you feel nature's strength!

The best time would be during the night so you can enjoy the beautiful promenade of the city under the night lights.

The view from the stone is wonderful. You can see Vjosa River and the old bridge. By the night the stone is decorated with lights.
The City Stone of Permet is a free, local attraction with amazing panoramic views of the city. It's an impossible-to-miss landmark, and informational signs guide visitors to the stairs that lead up to the top of the City Stone. Its high vantage point is perfect for looking out over the entire town, including the Vjosa River and the surrounding mountains. Definitely a must-visit spot when visiting Permet!
