Guesthouse "Demushi"

We stayed here for two nights to take a rest from hiking during a rainy day. The host and the house were awesome. We loved the double room on the very top floor for its awesome view. Yes, the shower is just a shower head in the bathroom but it’s definitely plenty of really hot water (we actually were able to make tea with the tab). The breakfast had enough variety for us (bread butter cheese jam cooked eggs and vegetables if you ask for vegetarian) and everything was homegrown and homemade. The rooms can get cold but they gave us an electric heater with which we could keep the room warm and cozy. We definitely would return.

We stayed here after the hike from They. The family is really sweet, helpful and nice. They helped us to go further to the ferry and everything. The guesthouse itself is really lovely and authentic and the food so tasty and good. And the 4 dogs they own are real sweethearts! Only thing was that the walls in the room are from stone so the bed felt a bit damp.

Lovely guesthouse with a cute garden and beautiful view. Staff were super attentive and lovely with great recs for dinner nearby, brekkie was big, packed lunch was perfect for a big hike and beds were comfy. Loved our stay!

A little bit out of the city "center" (its a long strechted village so no real center present), restaurants within 5 min walk. It is located at a quite spot with beautiful view on the mountains.

They have a large garden which is open to use for guest. It's run by a family who also grow their own vegetables, have some chickens running around. We did not bother at any moment and did not woke up by them, but if you are a light sleeper it could happen. I would consider it part of the experience ;)

Its peaceful at the guesthouse. Beds are good, rooms are clean, warm shower in a simple bathroom, extensive and delicious breakfast. If you plan to do the hike to teth you can get a good lunch to go if you request upfront.

Nice, practical guesthouse in beautiful garden, also with small shop, exactly how we like it. The manager, Edisona, has helped us with everything we asked, so for 2 nights we felt like at home. Room was very good for our family and breakfast amazing, just like almost anywhere in Albania.

Dinner is not served, but it's no problem, there are several restaurants up and down the valley, within 10 minutes of walk. Chicken in the garden are adorable and cows on street funny :) I wish to come back one day and climb that Kolata beauty.

Perfect place to relax in stunning Valbone Valley! Beautiful, spacious rooms with hotel-quality mattress and bathrooms. At the same time felt very homey - delicious meals, cute farm animals and super friendly hosts. We will definitely come back if I’m Albania again :)

Clean room, comfortable bed, no dinner is served but pretty good breakfast. Hardworking manager.

Black out curtains would be nice in the room.

Great stay. Renovated rooms. Very friendly family. Also a nice stay with a baby, had gest fun with the chickens. Highly recommended.
Info: They have also a small kiosk for snacks and icecream. 7min drive by car to end of road to Hotel fush e gjese, where the Theth trail is marked. 15min walk to "mulliri i vjeter". 30 drive by car to canyon of shoshan.

The lady of the guesthouse, Edmira, invited me and my mom for a coffe with her daughter just because they shared a name. Later we found out that they both had twins, funny how life works! The guesthouse had a beautiful garden with flowers right next to the main street of the Valbona Valley where you could gaze at the Alps, with 6 rooms you can experience the true essence of the mountains. Highly recommended for the view and the hosts!

Newly renovated, beautiful rooms with very (!) comfortable beds. The owners were super nice, though communication in English is a little tricky. Food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious!

Wonderful place, by far one of the best I stayed in. The rooms are clean, a beautiful garden with an outstanding view and the houseowner is a very friendly woman always there to help. The breakfast is good as well
