Bujtina Izet Selimaj (Restaurant)

We had dinner at the restaurant. This place is fantastic! Great options also for vegetarians, the food is hands down delicious and the service is very good! The waiter is super friendly and so is his little brother who helps out and who speaks English surprisingly well! Also, similar to previous commentators, we didn‘t get food poisoning! (In all seriousness, the notion that you might get food poisoning at this place is ridiculous. It is really clean and everything is up to code. I’m pretty sure these comments are meant to describe the restaurant on the other side of the street, which seems to have some issues.)

A few days ago we had a lovely vegan dinner here. This restaurant is family owned and the boy who served us spoke great English. Because it's family owned they were very flexible in accommodating us with our vegan diet. We had vegetables, fries, soup and bread. It was very tasty, we definitely recommend. Oh and we didn't get any food poisoning. Also some other guys who ate there that we met ordered food but also didn't get food poisoning. So I recommend!

Very well situated in the valley. The rooms were top quality and comfortable. The service and friendliness was very welcoming especially the two boys who helped in the hostel restaurant were genuine and helpful. The restaurant food offered good set deals (Larger combinations). Personally I didn't enjoy the fried foods/soups at all, as these have little flavour and would recommend the chicken rice and normal goat cheese and such instead, as this is locally produced and tastes great! Would very much visit this well balanced spot for Valbone. (Also if you want to hike to Montenegro border, decent for the theth hike and near a couple small restaurants, which may require reservations tho).

We stayed in a bujtina nearby, but came here for the food. It was incredible! Some of the best food we've had in Albania. They also serve the most delicious raki we've tried.

The sons took care of me during my stay courteously and warmly. They speak very good English and in the evening we sat together outside and drank beers and a very tasty raki.
The food in the restaurant is homemade and fresh - I found it delicious. The cappuccino is also very tasty and the breakfast quite lovingly prepared.
The room is clean, the heating worked, hot water for showering was also available. The bed was comfortable, the pillow rather less - a bit too hard. Otherwise, I can highly recommend it!

We didn’t stay here but had a lovely lunch. Lovely spot and we were served by friendly staff who speak brilliant English. We are both vegan and we had a lovely lunch of vegetables, salad, fries and bread. Very much recommend this spot. A lovely family restaurant!

Best food in Valbona! Very kind and friendly young waiter and genuine and simple home made food. Came only for dinner as a group of 8 people and everything we ordered was prepared quickly and was delicious! Strongly recommended!

Great service with good English skills. Very friendly waiters. Prices on the high side but same as most of the area. Food was good, would recommend the goat. Only had dinner there but would recommend .

Highly recommended if you in Valbona

we came in Valbona for three days and finding food to eat was a bit complicated. we came here the first night, and we were super surprised about everything. the place was super nice, and the staff was the best. the first day we all ate mish vici (beef meat) and it was super good, portions were really big and we were really happy. (P.S., we have a dog, and they didn’t say anything about it. dogs indeed are allowed, which was nice because other restaurants didn’t allow them.) the second day we booked pilaf, which is rice with chicken. this time too, portions were so big but we still finished it all. for these tipe of dishes you need to book them in order to get them for dinner, because their preparations take around 2/3 hours. finally, we also came the last day to eat breakfast one last time. it was indeed really good, homemade and traditional.
i really feel like recommending other people to eat here, because we had the best experience and really enjoyed our meals.
last but not least, we would like to give special thanks to Erison (hope I have written that right, if not, sorry!) for taking care of us the whole three days. if we are going to come back to Valbona, we are still going to eat here.

Family staff was unbelievably kind. This is an absolutely stunning place in the center of Valbonë with some of the best food we’ve had in Albania. Very creative breakfasts that anyone will enjoy.

Great traditional food. Friendly staff. Nice yard, nice view. Note that some selections are per kilogramm so difficult for 2 people.
