You should definitely visit this Fantastic family- run restaurant if you want to enjoy a great lunch with family or friends . 10 out of 10 . The food is fresh and delicious . Maybe 20 minutes far from Sarande but its worth it ,believe me . Highly recommend.

Delicious local restaurant. The food was incredible. Amazing views of the mountains. Cool atmosphere and vibe.

Tried the tzatziki, spicy sausage, peppers with cream cheese, and stuffed eggplant. Food came out quick. Everything was fantastic.

Driving up the road can be tricky but it's definitely worth it.

Avoid the homemade wine!!

Little place up in the hills. It has a beautiful view of the surrounding valley. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant. Now the good parts....The food was great! Decently priced and good portions. There were a couple of cats laying around but not begging. Overall I would say we would definitely go there again. Oh yeah, get the hard baked cheese.

Definitely stop by on the way to/from Sarandë. Tasty food in the shade of trees and a view of mountains.

We enjoyed this place a lot after driving with a child on a hot day. The food was excellent and flavorful. Our choice included country salad, byreks with onion and potatoes, pork appetizer in tomato sauce, grilled hard cheese, and chicken (for our child). The bread was served on the side. Some of the items were not on the menu, but just ask them if you want something specific.

There were, unfortunately, no child chairs, but there were cats and a turtle our 20 m.o. child got entertained with. Fantastic views were entrainment for the parents.

This taverna is such a beautiful place with a nice look into the mountains while sitting under large trees. A fine brise made it even more comfortable. The food was very tasty with sweet details.

I suggest everyone, nice, clean, and very familiar ambience! The food best of the best. Big smile all the family and weekly service. The rooms fantastic...

Very beautiful taverna with delicious food and breathtaking view. Highly recommended :)

We started our trip to Albania from this exceptional village and after almost two weeks of exploring many wonderful places we decided to also finish there. Everything thank to amazingly friendly Taverna’s owners, delicious and freshly homemade traditional food and not to forget about beautiful surroundings (and baby kittens ;) The rooms are very well equipped and have beautiful view on the mountains site. Looking forward to be back!

Really great place with homemade food, nice people attending and the best atmosphere I found during my trip. I found it by accident, but I can 100% recommend to visit it. Also the town is really cute with a great panorama view.

The must to visit taverna in Albania. If you want to feel the true atmosphere and taste great local food - this is a place to be! We decided to stay two extra nights in Nivice and each time had a wonderful dinner in this place. Real 5 stars!

This place at night has amazing atmosphere. The food is amazing. Me and my girlfriend tried baked cheese, pork, tzatziki, red wine, country salad and it was all amazing. But the prize goes to the grilled lamb racks.

Taverna Mouxazi is the best that could happen to us during our stay in Sarande.
Trying to avoid any place in Sarande we run into this amazing taverna. I always love to try different restaurant when I travel, but this time we decided to go twice (2 nights) without even look for other places. Delicious food, we tried many dishes in 2 dinners, kind service and the best atmosphere ever.
They also have some rooms, I would definitely booked a room if I had known before. 100% recommended

Traditional Albanian tavern with delicious food, great atmosphere and service. The specialty of the kitchen are lamb chops which you shouldn't miss if you visit this area. The access to the tavern is a bit tricky with very steep hill, but follow the Google Maps recommendation because there are 2 roads access.
Payment is possible only with cash, they accept € or $ if you don't have local currency.

During our 5-days in the region of Saranda this restaurant was by far the best experience!
The food was amazing and the view outstanding. We would really recommend going there.
