Vila Dodo

Ended up at this Villa unexpectedly after the mountain weather took a turn for the worse- the hosts were very accommodating and had a room ready for us within half an hour. We were very impressed with the comfort, cleanliness, and charming beauty of this spot. The food was farm-fresh and delicious (homemade!), the views stunning, and the hosts were very helpful (spoke both English and Albanian). Would have stayed longer if we'd had the chance!

Amazing location, in the middle of nature. Pure air, water from the mountain, natural product, incredible view, super food and nice family place. They don’t speak English, but they know how to host you.

Wir kamen durch Zufall in die Bujtina Dodo und es war das Beste, das uns passieren konnte. Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen und fühlten uns sofort in diesem Familienunternehmen wie zu Hause. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und der Ausblick ein Traum. Das Abendessen war köstlich. Alles aus eigener Produktion und von der Mutter des Hauses, mit Unterstützung der Enkelin, zubereitet. Definitiv unser bestes Essen der gesamten Reise und wir sind bereits seit 2 Wochen unterwegs. Auch der Wein und Raki, ebenfalls selbst gemacht, schmeckten sehr gut. Unsere Gastgeberin sprach sehr gutes Englisch, somit konnten wir uns wunderbar unterhalten. In dieser Ruhe haben wir geschlafen wie Engel und am nächsten Morgen bekamen wir ein Frühstück, das köstlicher nicht ging. Ich habe mich verliebt in dieses Plätzchen Erde und würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich irgendwann wieder kommen kann.

Questo Bed & Breakfast nel cuore della natura albanese rimane un po’ fuori dalle normali rotte turistiche a più di 1000 m di altitudine. La camera è deliziosa e pulitissima. I gestori parlano italiano e sono adorabili!!! Ma la vera scoperta è stata la cena: cucina casalinga tradizionale albanese assolutamente superba. Dopo cinque giorni di viaggio attraverso l’Albania posso dire di non aver mai mangiato meglio di così! 10 e lode!
