Love it! what an epic place. the mountain, souvenirs and church.. everything is amazing 🤩.. we drove there from tirana on Sat & the road was slightly jam, thus we had to take some off roads .. it took us around 1.5h to get to the top. it wasn’t that crowded.. thus i’d recommend it to visit it over the weekdays

Definitely, a monument of the religious harmony in Albania, there are few churches in the world who have been visited more by muslim originated individuals. It shows a lot for the religious mentality in Albania. Located in a beatiful valley. Unfortunately you’ll not find many signs and explanations in English. But youngsters are willing to help you and give information for the place. Very recommended!

Saint Anthony Church (Kisha e Shna Ndout or Kisha e Laçit), is a church first built in 1300, then destroyed in 1971, and eventually rebuilt in the 1990s.
The site of the church was first built around year 1300, and dedicated to St. Mary, then renamed after Anthony of Padua in 1557. In 1971 it was destroyed by the communist regime, and eventually was rebuilt in the 1990s. It is a Franciscan church. Many renowned clergy have served in the church, including Shtjefën Gjeçovi, Vinçens Prennushi, Klement Miraj, Robert Ashta, and Zef Pllumi.

Giving this the 5 stars for being one of the best landmarks in Albania. The bravery of the catholics of this region kept this church safe from the Ottoman oppression, an amazing view over the city Laç and even the sea was on sight from the altitude. People from all around albania visit this place for good luck despite their religious beliefs, a sign of tolerance among the 3 main religions in the country

This church has a lot of history. It is visited from all religious groups in Albania.
Many people believe in the power of this church.
Its one of the few churches that survived the Communism Era.

Kisha e Shna Ndout is amazing! There is a place where you can buy candles, bracelets or necklaces with a cros. Things to do there usually are like lightning candles, going inside the church and visiting the cave. Yes, there's a cave near to the church called Shpella e Shën Vlashit that you can go, make a wish or write it down on a piece of paper and put it on the holes the cave has. It's a great place. You can also take pictures and pray at a big cros that is placed just a little bit far from the church.

Well, from a point of view of religion and tourism thats a must in Albania. There is some sort of holyness in that place that you feel. Great views. I've been there like 3 times in my life, last tim was in Sep 2021, it had changed a lot positively in terms of organization. The road from Lac to the church is good and there is free parking available.
