The nature here is really nice and temperatures are cooler than in Yerevan. Look at the site Hike Armenia to see all the possible trails that can be hiked. I spent 3 days and did three one-day hike in the region. A taxi to get to the beginning of trails might be necessary.

We tried zip line and the service was good. Staff were friendly . But due to heavy snowfall we didn’t do boating or other activity. Am not sure if other activities are working during snow

Dilijan National Park is a lovely protected area which needs some ecotourism infrastructure to become a more convenient place for various visitors who want to enjoy being out in nature.

One of the best travel experiences in Armenia was the ziplining at Parz lake in Dilijan National Park. A ride through the forest which ends in an adventure park.

Great place, but it's better to go to the Sevan lake (some 40 minutes drive). There is a ropeway and boats for rent

An Alpine Village nestled quietly in the mountains with fresh air and greenery. Accommodations are sparse but very rustic and with a great sense of peace and quiet. The food served at the restaurant is top-notch with a home-cooked feel.

Great national park with amazing hiking trails. As of 2018, an increasing number of hiking trails are thoroughly marked out, and designated camping spots for overnight stays in the park are available for longer hikes. It can be quite a lot cooler than further south in Armenia, e.g. in Yerewan.
We met a lot of friendly locals, and even though communication was a bit difficult at times due to our lack of knowledge in local languages, everyone was very willing to help and point us to the right direction.

Incredible hike. Ever wondered what one of the monestaries would look like if they were not as well kept as the other ones and simply left? See the top of this mountain. A monestary that has simply been left. Awesome picnic spots at the bottom of the mountain for those who do not feel like climbing. Picnic spots are complete with barbacue place and everything

It was three days stay at Hotel Tufenkian in Dilijan. This town is surrounded by hills and very near to Dilijan national park . If you are a nature lover then this is the place you must visit. In winters less tourists are attracted here but there is lots to enjoy here especially tracking. In summer this place is full of the tourists because of the greenery. Spend a day by the parch lake and enjoy the nature. Be careful , don't go inside the park without a guide. You may encounter with bear. There are historical monasteries which could be visited with the help of taxi drivers. Taxi service is reasonable and trustworthy because drivers don't cheat the customers. Whenever you visit Armenia instal Google translate app it will be a great help because most of the locals speak armenian or russian .
