For me personally the best part was the road to reaching the church rather than the church itself. Although the latter is also nice. The forest that leads to the church is extra clean and you come to see a wild and pure green environment.

Nice for ecotourism, perfect air, the monastery is not acting, great forests as part of Dilijan national park.

I have been thousand times in Dilijan, only this year found Aghavnavank. Magic place, forest like in fairytale.

A hidden treasure in Tavush region. You should walk for an hour approximately to get there... The beautiful nature around makes monastery even more mystic.

It is in the middle of the forest. Forgotten monastery. Very beautiful an harmonic in nature. It is about 11th-12th century building.

Awesome place. Been here with my family a couple of time. It's not far from the village Aghavnavank. I remember the picture of my grandpa peaking trough the churche's window. I miss him so much... (I will post that picture here when I find it)

Gosh is a village in the Dilijan Municipality of the Tavush Province of Armenia. The village is named after Mkhitar Gosh who took part in the rebuilding of the Nor Ghetik Monastery during the 12th-13th centuries, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1188. source
