Incredible, no word can describe the beauty of surrounding cliffs and mountains, also the legend of Tsakhkevank is really amazing and religious. WORTH VISITING FOR SURE! The road is kinda hard,but you can make it!❤

Tsaghkevank is located on Mount Ara, Aragatsotn region. There is a spring in the Mamrot monastery, which is said to have healing properties, especially for eyesight. The water contains significant levels of zinc, which helps with vision, as well as joint and muscle spasms. Local residents call it "Holy Water".

People mostly don't go there they mostly prefer going to Saghmosavank or Hovhannavank on the other side of the valley...the last 3km before reaching there is not paved as a matter of effect it seems was never and considered off-road, i went there with sedan car, and mark it up taking a high car for the sake of going there
, and get extra few bottles of water... Although you can buy from there as well. And you might find people filling bottles by the water droplets of the cracks of the cave.

The monastery was hewn in the mossy cave. The source of water is extracted from stone, which is considered healing. There is a legend with Saint Barbara (Kuys Varvara). Interesting and little-known place. Worth to visit.

A beautiful monestery in the mount Ara . You can get there by a car or by foot ,by foot it is more interesting plus the road is a really bad one.
But in Tsaghkevanq you can wash your face by underground clean water or even drink it.

Если от стоянки идти прямо и зайти за гору то можно обнаружить пещеру. Туда тоже можно забраться.
