DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alice Springs

Great Hilton hotel. We enjoyed our stay. You arrive in Alice Springs to a hot, relatively simple town, and the hotel looks fresh, has a peacock and resident tiny, tiny lizard that was beautiful to look at by the pool. And many of the local red center birds hang in and around the hotel if you enjoy bird watching.

We all really enjoyed the pool. They have a canopy above a section to allow you shade while you enjoy the water.

Place was great value for the money and close to all the ‘things to do’ road routes.
They have a gated parking area and parking was free which we really appreciated.

Safe and clean Hotel and perfect for a one night stopover with friendly staff in Alice Springs. The hotel is in this a little bit old fashion Hilton style but we'll maintained.
The room was clean with lots of space and a nice bathroom. The hotel has a big pool.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was on good hotel standard. For dinning I would recommend the external run Hanuman restaurant within the Hotel. Many locals eat there and a reservation is recommended. The Hotel has a good value for money.

I was pleasantly surprised by the competitive rate we received when choosing to book for an over night in Alice on our way back out to the remote site we work on.
Very happy with secure fenced in grounds from the outset, really important when you have a 4WD full of items to take back out to where you work.
Our room was quiet and well appointed with a comfortable bed, a bit of a traverse to the restaurant but that wasn't a huge issue.
The staff service was very good and everyone had a nice attitude that was not forced or fake.
We did not breakfast there as we needed to leave fairly early to do a few things but next time we will.
I like to have choice over what I pay for accommodation (rather than just trust to luck I'm being offered the best value for money in good accommodation) so I usually use an app that give me much research power and allows me to book at the best rates, but I've actually joined the Hilton Honors program so that I can book direct with the hotel because their rates direct to program members are actually extremely competitive.
This hotel will become a regular long weekend "shopping trip to town" stay over for us if it stays as reliably good as it was the other week.
We were very impressed with it.
For all those people complaining about water supply being scanty through the hottest time of the year remember where you are - - you're essentially in a man made oasis in the middle of a DESERT. Try visit or living in a remote site where electricity and water can drop off the grid at any time and stay off the air for a considerable time (especially if the power station catches fire) and then you may a bit better appreciate what hotels in Alice Springs actually do make possible.

I would like to thank all of the staff from the receptionists, to the cleaning staff, the breakfast staff, the people making the special order eggs, the restaurant staff, the bar staff and the gardeners and absolutely everyone I interacted with at Double Tree. Ignacio at the reception deserves an award for being the MVP of welcoming vibes, and Pricilla at the bar? Mixologist with a side of sass and wit but in a sensible way that Double Tree would approve of.

I came here to grieve the loss of an amazing friend, to be looked after and to relax. The staff at every turn would be checking in on us and asking if we needed anything. Asking how we were feeling and actually listening so compassionately to our responses. Honestly the staff at the Double Tree Hilton are the best team I’ve ever encountered at any hotel I’ve experienced and I've hotel-hopped, from Raffles in Singapore to who-knows-where, but DoubleTree, you've got the heart and humor game on lock.

Thank you to everyone for looking after us during this time. Thanks for being the unsung heroes and making a tough time a bit brighter. You're the realest in the game of hospitality worldwide. I'll be sharing the love for DoubleTree whenever someone needs a dose of warmth (in a literal and metaphorical way). Cheers to you! 🌟

The hotel is in very good condition throughout. Food service and room service was just perfect. The front office staff are exceptional.

I haven't stayed here but I drop people off from the shuttle bus. I've eaten at the restaurants. Nice staff, good food. Place smells nice in the foyer. I like that!

Very pleasant and easygoing hotel, The Staff are friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast. Good pool with a peacock roaming around.

It's most popular hotel in Alice Springs, the rooms service have an excellent services. It's the most enjoyable view of the Caterpillars hills. Seeing the sunset are amazing you'll never miss.

We were welcomed with Double Tree cookies and they were delicious! We were given the option to skip the room cleans to help save the environment and be rewarded with free drinks. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. You don't get amenities like robes, slippers, mini bar drinks/snack and some toiletries but my room did come with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Guest laundry is free which was great. The swimming pool area is beautiful 🤩 and the location of the hotel is great! So close to everything!

Such a lovely place. Fijian and Samon staff was super friendly, as others. This what you want on your holidays. Warmth and smile. You also need get breakfast option. Everyday you can eat different food by your choice. Funny thing we did made mistake and booked one day short. When we came back at 3pm when we should check out at 10 am, the friendly staff at the reception was accommodating and helped us to stay another day. Highly recommended, and the diamond in their crown, Andrew the peacock.
The note to management - you have the right people on the bus. Thank you all for making our stay so pleasure ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Room is nice and clean with comfortable bed and modern facilities, breakfast buffet was great, dinner was excellent . Nice and secure with - fence around the hotel and car park to be safe for customers , excellent staff services , especially Hari who he is Food and beverage manager, he is very professional, he provided us a superior service , we have a wonderful time during our stay. Thank you very much for all the hotel staff fantastic service.

The room was nice and felt so luxurious. The pool was huge and had a decent sized fridge. The bath supplies were good but definitely not the best. Sadly did not see the peacock I heard about on reviews. The room felt safe and clean. The cleaners only come if you call for them which for me was fine. Overall the hotel was good and definitely recommend.There was also a amazing cookie waiting for me when I checked in.

Lovely hotel better than the Double Tree in Hawaii. Andrew the peacock was a lovely member of their team . Said heated pool if so heater needs repaired. All staff excellent, helping at all time. Great breakfast. The Hauman restaurant is so good.

Rooms were large. The staff were courteous and helpful.
The bar and the restaurants were well presented and the food excellent.

A wonderful oasis to base yourself for a stay in Alice Springs. Even though you are outside of the CBD, hotel is still easily serviced for bus tour pick-ups etc. All the facilities and amenities you could need in a very tranquil setting.

Stayed for 1 night, and check in was done in a few minutes. Kids were entertained during this time by Hari, who has endless energy and enthusiasm for his job. A fantastic host. The welcome cookies were a hit.
Room was comfy and room service meals were great. Can't complain about anything here. Highly recommend.

You can tell the hotel is a little dated, but my partner and I aren’t very picky as long as the rooms are clean (which ours was). Besides the facilities the hotel has to offer, the main highlight of our stay (and trip to Alice in general) was Hari! My partner and I loved his energy every early morning at the buffet breakfasts, he was always so happy to see us and we were always happy to see him. We noticed he was amazing at entertaining children at other tables and gave genuinely brilliant customer service to everyone. We were sad to not see him on our last day, he was right, his mocha’s are the best and left me wanting two or three more!
Melanie at the front desk left us with an equally amazing experience, on our first day arriving and being the only one at the desk she was still friendly and welcoming, and she remembered us on our last day which made us feel special.

We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation package we purchased. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
Front of house and wait staff at Saltbush Restaurant were professional and friendly. Would highly recommend the restaurant's very tasty meals.
We were extremely satisfied with the hotel facilities, cleanliness and lovely room.
In all, our needs were met abundantly.
