You can find everything in this market. The place is clean and accessible. It's well distributed and it's a big market. Prices are good! I recommend you to go at 1:30 pm or 2 pm because prices are better at that time. You'll find an Italian bakery inside which smells delicious and the bread is outstanding.
All products are fresh and there is a huge variety of fruit and veggies.

Next to the fruits and veggies are the souvenirs market, lots of interesting things if you look all the way. Good mix of local crafts and touristy items. Definitely walk through the ailes before buying anything.

The place was amazing with a large selections of food, drinks and groceries. They had delicious sweets and cheeses. We ate so much and we could not wait to go back the next day. The prices were very reasonable and the people very nice.

You obviously aren't going to have everything you want here but the selection from produce to poultry to bread is fresh, local, cost saving, and most importantly delicious! Highly highly highly recommend shopping here for your staple produce and meat and bread over the supermarkets.

They also have clothes, soap, pharmaceuticals, bags, jewelry, and other items as well as food. There are shops lined up and waiting to sell local goods.

definitely a must-do if you’re around town! plenty of things to eat and shop ranging from clothes to kitchenware to souvenirs to fresh local harvests!! the market is pretty big and widespread with directional signs over each aisle to guide you. i would suggest allocating at least 2-3hr to properly enjoy the market.

This market is awesome. There truly is something for everyone here. From cooked foods to butchers and green grocers. From souvenirs to clothes and other cool stuff, it’s a great place with a great vibe!

The summer night market is also very good! Lots of brilliant food to choose from which cater to a wide variety of dietary preferences and needs! The live music also adds to the great atmosphere!

This market is amazing. Fruit and veg fresh as well as the meat and the range of delicatessens was great. I wish there was something like this in QLD. The stall owners were so happy.

Great place to get cheesy t-shirts & polarized sunnies.

They have a fish & meat market, fruit & veg market then clothes and miscellaneous stuff. As a tourist the trinket market was fun. There are food stalls, bathrooms and decent prices.

Market is within the free team zone.

Visited the market on a Friday morning. It was amazing to see a lot of local produce. They are fresh!
Apart from that, you can get your fashion needs here as well (though may be on the pricier side).
A lot of various food stalls to select from, and definitely worth trying them out. We went before breakfast, so we got different food as our breakfast.

I’m a visitor to Melbourne and I wish we had this market where I live. If I lived here, I would buy all my fruits, vegetables, meat, etc from here. But the fruits and vegetables especially cannot be beat. Come in the morning and get your fresh pick of the produce. Other items on sale as well such as mobile phone cases, clothes, hardware goods, socks, candles, sheepskin covers, carts, you name it. A number of food trucks on site for when you get hungry. Make sure to get some hot jam doughnuts - 5 for $10. Long line but it moves fast.

My go-to place to get fruit and veggies. Always a good price and good bargain. Should visit after 1 PM, cause they will lower the price, although you have to be very thorough to pick the best stuff at that hour. Also, the night market was fun, should visit around 5 pm so it's not too crowded and you can get a space to eat, cause it will get too packed after 6 pm. Best time would be on the first week of the night market, cause there will be fewer people

Queen Victoria Market stands out as one of the cleanest markets I've ever visited. The entire experience was delightful, especially considering our visit during the workweek when the crowd was relatively light, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The market has numerous vendors and shops, offering a wide array of souvenirs at reasonable prices. One standout was the tote bag shop, which featured lovely bags, and I couldn't resist purchasing some as souvenirs. With plenty of options for a quick bite and extensive shopping opportunities, Queen Victoria Market is a place where you can easily spend hours.

If you're into interesting & vibrant markets, then the Queen Victoria Market is for you. There's a fantastic variety of stall holders, including clothing, leather goods, jewellery, bags, shoes, Australiana, plants, art, toys, not to mention an extensive food area, with foods from many cultures. Today l had the best hot chocolate I've ever had & crepes to die for! Honestly, if you're after something vibrant to do while you're in Melbourne, give these historic markets a try. You won't be disappointed. 🙂🙂🙂

The Queen Victoria Market is just like Namdaemun Market in Korea
A variety of souvenirs, leather goods, vegetables, meat, fresh fishes, and even spices are sold.
You need a cash rather than a credit card in here, and you can see many local people pulling carts to buy fresh meat, fruit and fishes.
It is also nice that there are many shops where you can eat various flavors.

Clean and spacious. Great place to see what local produce is in season and grab a bite to eat. A must visit if you have time.
