Best pies in the Burdekin and the kind and caring indian Hospitality is amazing. I'm enjoying my curry pie. Phone charging whilst you eat is possible too.

Being a new 24hr roadhouse you would expect it to be clean and look good, and it was. Food was very nice and great tasting pies. Staff were well presented and polite. Cooks wore white clothes and they looked professional. Fuel prices were at a competitive price, and plenty of room for parking for trucks or it towing a camper or caravan.

Great selection of home made pies and sausage rolls.
Clean facilities and helpful staff.
There is a separate eating area for truckies. Showers are also available.

Whilst I don't buy United fuel we pulled up here for a meal and it was incredible. Barra and chips I would highly recommend. The service station and restaurant was immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly. Ideally located halfway between Ayr and Townsville for travellers needing a break or coffee.

You can rest here and have something to drink. Even on the opposite road to the station you can park your car but you will have to cross the road if you need to buy something. The green there is wonderful, please don't throw any carbage like empty cans or whatever. If you are on the opposite road and not willing to cross the road, please collect your empty cans and bags and throw them in pin when you reach your destination safely.

Hi guys, want to share a small information in regards to the united petrol stations. Recently i travelled from NSW to cairns by Car after entering in Queensland i stopped in many petrol stations. especially BOWEN and GIRU United station are like 5 star rated places. They maintain well. food is so hygiene. Feel like to eat or to buy something. You will have option to choose especially for vegans as well.

Good pies and a nice selection of other foods. Fuel prices very competitive and the entire place was clean and appealing.

The Pie face part of the service station has a vegan range of pies as well as the excellent meat varieties.

These stars go to the fish pie in this service station! I meam i really like fish pies anyway, but this was a shockingly good barra pie!

Just perfect spot when you feeling hungry in the middle of nowhere pie face is just there very fresh and tasty
