A giant Stone Sphere

An infamous would-be archaeologist is at it again, suggesting that some unique rock formations he has discovered in present day Bosnia, are proof of an ancient civilization that thrived there 1,500 years ago.

Semir Osmanagic has been combing the hills around Visocica since 2005 claiming the surrounding mountains were part of a giant collection of pyramids that he says could be 15,000 years old.

Since then he has been digging around the mountains but not turning up any archaeologically accepted proof of his claims.

His latest "find" is a large, spherical rock found in a Bosnian forest that he says could be the oldest such rock ever made by humans.

Para llegar hasta el punto en concreto hay señales que en algún momento desparecen.

Mi recomendación, seguir las vías del tren/río hasta que hay un sendero pavimentado que sale en dirección opuesta a estos. Se puede dejar el coche ahí, o subir un poco más, llegaréis a un “chiringuito” de madera, y arriba hay espacio para unos pocos coches, pero no demasiados.

Una vez allí, hay letreros en los que ponía que la entrada no era gratuita, pero nadie nos pidió nada. Estábamos solos!

En el bar había un grupo de amigos tomando algo, le preguntamos dónde estaba la esfera y la teníamos delante de nosotros sin apenas habernos dado cuenta!

Tomamos algo, y nos fuimos en busca del resto de las esferas, que se encuentran a unos 10km de ahí.

Apuntar que en ese bar había wifi, y baños. Para pagar solo aceptaban efectivo, tanto en KM como en EU.

Fantastisch voor motoren en fietsen met tent. Toegangsweg is ongeschikt voor campers en boven kan je niet keren. Dus: parkeer onderaan bij de gele supermarkt, pak de fiets of ga lopen. Volg eerst de weg langs het spoor en dan de gele bordjes 'big stone' en je komt op deze idyllische droomplek in het bos, incl. hangmatten :-)

Posebno bih pohvalila gospodina koji me posluzio i pripremio prefini obrok.

Na tomto mieste sa nachádza údajne najväčšia kamenná guľa na svete. Priemer je 3 m. Je tu len jedna, ostatné menšie sa nachádzajú v tom istom meste smer Donji Junuzovici. K tejto gigantickej kamennej guli sa dostanete po ulici Podubravlje. Je to znacene (ručná výroba), žltá šípka a big stone. Na konci ulice je skoro rozpadnuty most. Ledva na priemer kolies osobného auta😁. Dá sa prísť a z opačnej strany železničnej trate, ale nie je to označené. Je to naozaj giganticka kamenná guľa👌 Rozprávali sme aj so "správcom". Príjemné miesto, príjemný človek. Zveľaďuje to tam za svoje prostriedky a aj za tie z príspevkov. 😊

Ein seltsam runder Stein und keiner weiß woher. Sehr interessant und rundherum ein idyllisches Cafe im Wald mit Bach. Sehr versteckt und nicht bekannt.
