Very old Serbian orthodox monastery, from Nemanic's era, 13th century. Nice, old icons. Mother Superior of monastery, Mother Jovana is very hospitable. Beautiful nature surrounding.

Lovnica monastery is a very special place, located close to the Sekovici village in Eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you go on the road Tuzla - Zvornik, on Lopare turn right and straight down to Sekovici, which is surrounded by not very high, but rocky mountains with forests. The monastery is just in front of the memorial of glory, built for the about 60 partisans, assassinated in severe action during the WWII. The main spiritual object is behind the monastery: a magic spring, that helps women to become pregnant. Few steps from the spring is rised an untypical orthodox cross. If you have sacred wish, tell on mind, take a pabble stone from the spring and put it on the cross. After a couple of months or years, your deepest wish will became true!

Lovnica je ženski manastir o kom trenutno brinu četiri monahinje i manastirski duhovnik Jovan. U njemu se nalazi igumanija Jovana, jedna od najhrabrijih i najdivnijih žena. Po predanju ovaj manastir je zadužbina kralja Dragutina Nemanjića. Predanje kaže da "tu Dragutin sazida manastir na mestu gde je lov lovio i mestu koje ga je lepotom zadivilo". Manastir Lovnica je po iscelenju odmah posle manastira Ostrog. U manastiru postoji izvor lekovite vode, svi verujući uzimaju tu vodu, da boluju od ne znam kakvih bolesti, dobiju iscelenje. Nemojte zaobići ovaj manastir, poseta njemu vredi svake ne minute, već sekunde.
