Full disclosure. We are American tourists in Bosnia & had no idea what to expect. The spit roasted lamb and whole roasted trout were delicious. If you are looking for an authentic local experience this one is hard to top. Also found some great local red wine. A true find & a great vacation memory.

Good atmosphere, lamb is constantly roasting, so it's coming fresh from the spit.

As most people have mentioned, this restaurant serves an amazing spit-roasted lamb, and you should absolutely eat it with the fresh home made bread it comes with. If you're not a fan of lamb, you will find a decent selection of other grilled food and sides. The service and atmosphere are both very relaxed. It's a great place to stop at if you're gonna be driving past on an empty stomach.

Might be the best lamb I had in a long time, and pancakes with homemade jam were amazing. Service was really good, but lacks a bit of professionalism in comparison with more high-end places. Atmosphere is old school type, which is nice, but what brings it down is the fact smoking is allowed even in areas where food is consumed. This seems to be normal for Herzegowina though so keep in mind.

Tradition and taste for a great price on the way from Medjugorjie to Mostar. The best place to stop for a carnivorous meal!

We stopped before opening and they prepared breakfast for us. Great omelette and pancake. Big portions. Pity we could not test their lamb though :)

I highly recommend if you're in this part of Hercegovina and want to try traditional food. The roast lamb on the spit is delicious!

We went to this restaurant this summer, when we drove from Split to Mostar.Located not far from Mostar, it looks quite unassuming from the outside.The thing is, that's how the best restaurants in the Balkans often look. We were looking to be fed and watered and boy were we not disappointed!We waited for about 15 minutes for a fresh batch of lamb, which was spit-roasted to perfection, with the right amount of saltiness and crispness to the meat. It literally fell off the bone. We also had their locally-sourced salad, fresh bread and the local beer, Mostarsko. Make no mistake, this is one of the best roadside restaurants in this part of the world.They have an area outside in a shack, where several lambs are being spit-roasted at any given time by an elderly gentleman whose economic movement betrays someone who knows what to do and when to do it.

The price was quite reasonable for the quality of the food we were enjoying and the staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly given the fact we had a 9-month old baby with us. Their toilet facilities were quite acceptable for this part of the world. Would recommend and will return to this gem of simple yet delicious carnivore heaven.

Most famous place for roasted lamb specialities. Place has been known by the neme ^Udovice^ long time a go. Long time a go that was kind of like public kitchen where workers had their meals and paid as much as they could or somethimes they have not paid anything. It was up to them.

Very delicious local food. Ingredients fresh, high quality. Stuff friendly. Restroom clean.
