Herzegovina Lodges - Konjic

I had a wonderful stay at Herzegovina Lodges in Bosnia. This charming place is run by a lovely family, and their warm hospitality made my visit truly special.

The lodge is tucked away in a serene and peaceful location, a bit far from Konjic town, but it's perfect for anyone seeking tranquility and a connection with nature.

The homemade food they serve is a delight - it tastes just like a comforting home-cooked meal. The ingredients are fresh, and you can feel the love and care in every bite.

The rooms are spacious and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It's the ideal spot for meditation and enjoying the beauty of Bosnian nature. I highly recommend Herzegovina Lodges for a relaxing and authentic experience.

We had such a relaxing time at this beautiful place. It's all green full of beautiful plants, many nice and cozy places to sit and chat with the hosts and the other guests. The food was gorgeous. The hosts and stuff members were cordial and made the stay great for us. The rooms were classy and comfortable. The only thing was that cause of missing jalousies it was quite hot and a bit too light in the morning. Apart from that it was all perfect.

Amazing experience! I stayed here last week with a group on retreat for 4 nights. If it’s a complete immersion in nature you are looking for with excellent food and hosts look no further. Elmer and Goga were incredibly warm and welcoming and we learned so much about Bosnia from them. There’s a beautiful lake to swim in across from the property and rafting and hikes. Rooms spotless and beds comfy! An ideal setting for a retreat 🌿

Beautiful place at a walking distance from the lake and many other trails. Goga and Elmir were great hosts and provided valuable info and tips about the area. The room and food were all we could expect and more!

Not only the amazing accomodations (designed by the owner who is also an architect)or the view, fresh air, the lake and mountains. But most of all you feel the love of the two owners Goga and Elmir, their good care for all the visitors.. They feel imidiatly as family.

It's an whole experience, where your body and soul can rest ans reset. To remember where we come from. Mother nature, mother Bosnia in combination with the owners vision ..is pure divine magic.

Amazing and authentic place. Goga and Elmir are fantastic, generous hosts. Food is delicious and made using locally sourced ingredients. Boracko Lake is relaxed, quiet and ringed by stunning mountains. Go!

A fabulous place for people that enjoy nature, hiking or just being at ease in the garden to read a book or have a swim in the lake. But most of all, for all that want to explore the cultural live of BiH.
The room is very very nice, and specious and lovely decorated…

Herzegovina Lodges gives you the opportunity to experience Bosnia and Herzegovina in it's purest form. The location of the lodges makes it possible to enjoy different activities in nature; hiking, mountainbiking, rafting, canyoning or even a jeep safari (big recommendation!). The secret ingredients to my wonderful stay were the hosts: Goga and Elmir. It's obvious that they love what they do; this makes you feel welcome and at home. They can arrange anything you'd like to do and I'd recommend to join dinner (made by them) at the big dinnertable. The breakfast consists of local (such as cheese and ajvar) or selfmade products (such as the bread and the plum/apricot marmelade!). The apartments are comfortable and all the woodwork fits perfect with the location you're in. This was my second time here and I can't wait to come back!

..can't get better than that: in a beautiful setting you enjoy silence, sipping excellent wine, merging into finest tastes of local organic produce, knowledgeably presented and turned into feast of dishes..

Beautiful location! We had a lovely time in this comfortable and clean accommodation. Also the owners Goga and Elmir are great people - extremely helpful, always on call if there is a question or problem. On top we appreciate their homemade food! Many thanks!! There is a global feeling of relaxedness in this area and also in the lodges - also with the hosts. They are very kind and hospitable people. I am sure you will want to stay longer. Very nice interiors of the lodges, excellent breakfast. Located at lake Boračko Lake, which is a fantastic clear water lake, excellent for swimming. Also close to the beautiful Neretva River.

Great accomodation to get away from the city and enjoy the beautiful nature of Bosnia. Lovely hosts, pretty cabins with great views and lots to do in the area. Really recommmended!

Awesome place, pretty much the best accomodation at the Boračko lake. Hosts are amazing, food is homegrown. Hiking trail is right above the lodges, lake is right below you.

I have been to Herzegovina Lodges last summer. This place is simply amazing - chill ambient, surrounded by nature, many trees, garden, simply amazing.
Cozy apartments, with everything you need for your stay, Boracko Lake is few meters away.
There is also open kitchen where you can cook, or have bbq, hosts are amazing!
You can also pay to have all meals cooked by hosts - bosnian food really tasty.
From here you can take a long circle walk around Boracko, breathe some fresh air, and go to sleep like a baby.
It is very quiet no cars, streets or noise, just nature sounds and pozitive energy.
If Boracko Lake than HL for sure!! :)
