Na Krovu Svijeta - Lukomir

We popped in this place to have lunch, and this was the best food we ate in Bosnia the whole week we spent there! Very authentic, tasty, big portions, everything was homemade. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay here after hiking up to the Lukomir village. The place was very easy to find and the hosts are fantastic. One of the (adult) sons spoke fantastic English and the father spoke French so they were able to communicate well with guests.
The food here was delicious and well priced, and the cold beers after the hike were amazing.
The rooms are very basic but have power and wifi (although the village wifi had unfortunately gone out the day we were there). There is also a bathroom which is shared with the restaurant which is modern and very nice.
Would overall recommend this place 100%, it was one of the highlights of our Bosnia trip!

This has been a very good experience. Be aware to come from the Sarajevo side through the Bjelašnica. The road here is better.
The owner is very nice and talkative, food is excelent, the views are fantastic. Very much suggest you make an overnight stay here and you will be thrilled!

Perfect place to come after a few hours of hiking in the Bosnian mountains. The hosts are very friendly and prepare delicious traditional Bosnian food. You will have the best sleep on the mountain, so within the restaurant there are also rooms where you can spend the night. 10/10

I've been there twice already and I plan to go back again. Great place with phenomenal traditional Bosnian cuisine. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. If you are going to visit this beautiful village, this is the place where you should definitely rest, have lunch and even spend the night.

Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the stunning beauty of the location. The property was perched almost on the edge of a picturesque valley, providing awe-inspiring views from every angle. The rugged mountain range stretched as far as the eye could see, creating a sense of tranquility that permeated the air.

The accommodations themselves were nothing short of perfect.
The interior was tastefully decorated, featuring warm wood finishes and plush furnishings that invited relaxation.

The amenities offered by this mountain rental were exceptional.

We had a memorable experience in the restaurant, great food, service and very hospitable and friendly owners and the staff. Lots of local homemade products. We will be very happy to have an opportunity to go visit them again.

English speaking, family run business. Great value for accommodation and food. Clean, comfortable bed in a rustic newly converted barn. Traditional Bosnian food, including vegetables from their garden cooked in wood fired oven. We were treated like family by Nermin and his Dad, who also speaks French. We stayed for two nights and plan to return.

Great service, cosy rooms, great food, excellent value for money. The staff were great and eventhough we arrived late and where not staying as guests, they cooked for us and it was delicious.

Izvorno i autenticno...Planina koja ispunja dusu,neopisivi mir,ljudi i naselja ostala u nekom drugom vremenu...Vrijedilo je svake minute bez obzira na dug put i makadam.Gazda Mirsad jako ljubazan i elokventan.Uzitak ga slusati..Vratiti cemo se...

Nous sommes venus déjeuner, mais quelle était notre surprise de voir ce couple nous accueillir si chaleureusement, en français en plus. Ils prennent le temps avec tout le monde, leurs plats traditionnels extraordinaires : de l’agneau ou du veau avec des pommes de terre, du pita au fromage, des sirops, tout est fait maison et locale. L’endroit est décoré de manière rustique avec beaucoup de charme. On dirait qu’ils font l’accueil au nom du village dont ils sont les meilleurs ambassadeurs.

Przywitaliśmy się jak przyjaciele, a żegnaliśmy się jak z własną rodziną.

Do Lukomiru przyjechaliśmy na chwilę a dzięki gościnności Na Krovu Svjieta zostaliśmy u nich na noc i kolejny dzień.

Przepyszne, oryginalne, bośniackie potrawy. Čevapcici z kajmakiem to majstersztyk przyrządzany na naszych oczach. Gospodyni sama zaprasza do kuchni, aby pokazać jak wypieka się pieczywo.

Na miejscu można kupić ich produkty. Od konfitur, przez ajwar aż po nalewki.

Jeżeli chcecie zostać na noc to po zamówieniu jedzenia można rozbić się z namiotem lub kampervanem na łące za domem ZA DARMO.

Można też wynająć jeden z trzech dwuosobowych pokoi na poddaszu.
