This land port is one of the busiest land port of Bangladesh for entering India. If you don't select any four during your visa application this port will be made by default. Sometimes during the special days like Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-adha aur during puja all the peoples of the country interested to visited India gather together here and the place become a busy and crowdy.

I visit this place at least once in every two months..

Benapol Land Port is the largest and oldest land port of Bangladesh. It is located at Sharsha Upazila in the Jessore District.
This port is used for import-export goods with India. 90% of Indian goods are imported through this port. Jessore – Benapole road was the oldest connecting road with India.

Benapole Land Port, is the largest land port of Bangladesh located in Benapole town of Sharsha Upazila in the Jessore District. This port is used to export-import good with India through Benapole-Petrapole border.This port is governed by Bangladesh Land Port Authority.About 90% of the imported Indian goods enter Bangladesh through this port. Benapole land port was established as a Land Customs station and later it was turned into a Customs Division in 1984. It was transformed into a Custom House in 1997 and in 2009 new buildings were constructed in the location and Benapole Customs and Immigration Check post started its operation since then.
