Excellent place for visit. Large area for photoshoot. Enough subjects for photography. Overall clean and secure. Only entry is narrow due to village market.

This is a historical place which was built 250 years ago known as Jomidar Bari, safety and security was very good but it needs to be renovated to maintain and as this area a symbol of history.

Beautiful historical place.

Dalal Bazar Zamidar House. It is an abandoned zamindar's house built during the British era at Dalal Bazar, a few kilometers west of Laxmipur town. This house was built by zamidar Laxmi Narayan about four hundred years ago. It is built on about five acres of land. Zamindar Laxmi Narayan was a resident of Kolkata. He came to Laxmipur and built this house with the zamidari rights of this area from the British. Because he worked for the British, the people of this area called him a broker of the British, and thus the name of this area became Dalal Bazar. The house is currently abandoned. Its construction style and decorative stairs etc captivate the visitors. It is included under the Department of Government Archaeology. If the government takes steps to reform and develop it, it will be acceptable as a place of sight for the people of Laxmipur.

An archeological site, not having any facilities here but its nice, most probably government is taking initiatives to do some renovation work. Would be good if found history on notice board.

It is the ruins of a landlord's house. Which has been carrying the identity of the early landlords to the present society.

About 400 years ago, zamindar Lakshminarayan Boisab built on five acres of land. His original residence was in Kolkata, India. Later he came to Lakshmipur and built this zamindar house. Today Dalal Bazar is known as Zamindar Bari because its descendants were the commercial agencies of the region during the British rule. So the locals called them British brokers. And from there this place came to be known as Dalal Bazar. Such a palace will make you worry. Because 400 years ago without any rod only with iron beams, the skill of Shanifun to build such a beautiful Rajbari will leave you in awe. And when you enter the palace, you can understand that there are many beautiful places from the old interior.

Dalal bazar landlord was the richest person in laxmipur. His territory was biggest in laxmipur district. In the then that was only police station. This landlord dynasty was created in the time of our last nawab siraz ud dawla period.
