Visited in August 2023.

Nice short route, 4km, a lot of stairs, and interesting archeological sites, there are caves and other natural landscape with small information board. It’s well maintained. Before we start, the staff explains what we’ll encounter during the walk. Great to go with kids!

In the middle of the route, there’s a small café where you can take a rest by the riverside.

It’s payable and they have like quota of the visitors for a certain time. No dogs allowed.

But, I saw people bring their dogs and just enter the area from the exit without paying anything ?

Great walk lasting around two hours or less.
As helpfully described by another review, you can get there by train from the Gendron-Celles station, walk under the railway and go right into the kayak place before the road bridge. A path marked red and white at the back of the yard will take you to halfway through the park’s route, where you will find the restaurant La Flobette (no card payments) on the riverside.
I’m not sure when they expect you to arrive at the hut at the official start if coming by train but we arrived late there and were let through to finish our loop before eating at the restaurant and leaving the same way we came. All the people I encountered at the site were very nice.
Strangely, only the French and Dutch parts of the website have a link to the booking, if you are struggling to find it.
Highlights are the views near the start over the forest, river and railway, and from the hole in the cliffside, which you will have been able to see from below if you came from the direction of the train station. There’s a few caves and it is also fun walking alongside the river before reaching the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our hike into the park. Right away we saw the cliff overlooking the valley to our right and the river Lesse to our left. We loved the caves and Roman ruins at the top of the cliff! The view from the top of the cliff is really something to behold. After hiking for a while we arrived at the riverside café and finished off our hike with a nice lemonade and sorbet. The staff at the cafe and office were very kind and accommodating to us. We had a great experience!

Ticket cost 5 euro for adult. Park is 3 km long. There is many caves and beautiful views to see. Inside park is small café. There you can pay with cash or by transferring money to their bank account. There is really bad internet connection, so I suggest just taking cash with you. In real life it looks a lot more magical than in photos. Amazing place to visit! 🤩

Amazing scenery. Very calming. Would highly reccomend if you're looking for a nature escape. Would reccomend you go during a dry week otherwise you will probably fall a bunch thanks to the mud.

It takes about 1h30 to see it all. You have a couple of nice views and things to see during the walk (about 12 i believe). Some viewpoints, some old roman walls and a fully restored roman bath house. They rebuilt the bath house according to old plans and even field tested it to make sure it worked just like during the roman times: they filled the baths with water and heated the water with wood for several days. The result was that they had warm water baths with a constant temperature.
Along the track -which is very well marked- you'll also visit caves (i.e. some very ancient burial cave)
It is a very nice a beautiful walk. Almost at the end you can enjoy some ice-cream or drink(s) at a riverbank bar.

Very nice park.
It's not a very long trip, but you see a lot of different nature and some great caves.

At the end, there is some water where the kids can play in. At the bridge with the cross.

At the river, there is a place where your can rest. It was closed at that time, but you can certainly eat your pick nick.

Amazing nature area with well marked hiking trails and serene views of Dinant countryside. Hiking trail has a restaurant mid way. The view from the back end of the trail is amazing! Be sure to check out the cliff as well as it is outside the trails and not immediately visible.

Lovely walk with midevil ruins and caves. There's a short loop of around 4km that ia doable with the family. Dogs are not welcome on this walk.

Entry for four euro. Can do classic yellow loop past caves down to river and back in about an hour of walking. Once along river you can continue and cross rail bridge to connect to other trail options.

Great walk / easy hike. We did it with our 5 month old in the carrier with 33 degrees celcius. It has fantastic views and a good restaurant in the middle of the hike. Loved it and will do it again if I am in the region!

Great walk for families with small children. Easy to do, yet interesting and challenging enough with nice views.

Beautiful hike through the natural reserve. Good to do with small children (mine are 6 and 4). About half way there is a stall where you can buy something to drink and eat but I did not see a toilet here.(Also a stop for kajaks?).
I highly recommend good (hiking) shoes and a flashlight (best a headlight).

Hidden gem near Dinant. If you're in the area it's a must see! I won't spoil the experience with photographs. Besides the amazing views and atmosphere there are a few caves along the route which had me in awe.

Fun walk with caves ! Took us around 2 hours. Best to take some food and water with you because restaurant at the bottom is closed due to the flooding.
Totally worth the price ;)

My wife and I had a very pleasant short walk here. When you buy a ticket to enter you can also get a paper with information on different points during the suggested walking route with a lot of information.

There are a lot of stairs but it's definitely worth it. It only takes about an hour.

Beautiful walk (easy) with very diverse scenery. Some great caves, steep cliffs, and various nature. Last piece along the river. Done in 1 hour, but certainly worthwhile
