"Best meal ever" was the verdict from our child! I suspect it had a lot to do with the amazing kids pancake. Very friendly service from a waitress who helped us speak a little Flemish, tasty food, and good selection of Belgian beers.

Some have commented on the price and it's not cheap, but it's reasonable value compared to the other options we looked at in the area (none of which were any cheaper).

We ended up here accidentally because of the rainy weather, but we didn't make a mistake. Despite being more of a bistro than a proper restaurant, we had a great lunch - large bolognese which were really big, very sympa cheese croquettes accompanied with a little salad and a Croque Monsieur toast with a salad as well. Adequate prices for such a touristic area. Nevertheless, the service is what we enjoyed the most!

Very friendly and accommodating staff, quick service, and child-friendly. Waffles and pancakes available from 11h30 onwards, one of the earliest options in the area if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Food is ok, what you expect from a bistro.
The service is really nice, and they allow dogs indoor which was a big plus for our company with 5 dogs

Soo kind, dedicated and welcoming (it was crowded and we went with a big dog) , very! tasteful homemade Brussels waffel and special coffee. :-p

Very good ice cream. I always go there because it's the best of De Haan. You do need to wait a long time when it's busy. Because everyone wants their ice cream. But the food always makes up for that.

We have been there for lunch and had waffles and toast with salmon. Food was good and staff very friendly.
