Goritsa Ecotrail

A short walk uphill and a beautiful waterfall, recommended if you're in the area and looking for a short hike. We were with a 5.5 and 2.9 year olds, they walked all the way and didn't complain :)

It's really short, 15 min walk to the waterfall. In autumn it is really beautiful. If you're in the region or just passing by it's worth visiting.

Nearby Samokov there is a beautiful waterfall very easy to reach through an ecopath. Park the car and after 10 minutes of easy walk the nature show a wonderful show.

Great trail 1 hour with the children

15min walks away from village Ofcharovo. The path is marked, easy to walk, convenient for kids as well.

The starting point is around 800meters above sea level, and the waterfall around 900 meters above sea level.

You can continue the hike to village "panichishte" in Rila or even further up to the Rila lakes (see my photo of map below).

You can park in front of the beginning of the path, plenty of parking space, road is bunpy tough.

If you are close-by, totally worth if to stop by. Another cool place is the geyzer in Saparieva Banya.

Overall, very quiet and peaceful, totally recommendable!

A very nice walk through the woods leads you to a fascinating waterfall view. The walk is very easy and takes about 15 minutes. The track is easy to follow and well secured with no hard or risky regions. The track starts at the end of the village where it is easy to park your car.

Easy, shady walk to a beautiful waterfall. Very spectacular in spring.

It's a short walk but the nature is beautiful and there prize at the end is a rewarding view at the waterfall from a small platform in three rocks. Beware as the railings are not in top shape - especially if you're going with small children.

Chill 15 minute walk in the forest. No special equipment needed. Caution in rainy days, since the stairs and rocks might be slippery.
