We enjoyed the local wine with roasted tomatoes and vegetables on bread, and the chef’s specialty pan - a pork and beef with vegetables - that was delicious, with rural potatoes ( dill and oil ), and fried cauliflower. The live music and dancing across the street was close enough for our liking so this restaurant is perfectly placed.

Best place in Melnik. Must be visit! A lot of home made food. Ask for home made goat cheese. Place is good for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Loved the food and service. I wouldn't say it's kid friendly as it seems to be only a smoking area and people smoke all around the children which I personally hate.

Town in Bulgaria

Melnik is a town in Blagoevgrad Province, Southwestern Bulgaria, in the Southwestern Pirin Mountains, about 440 m above sea level. The town is an architectural reserve and 96 of its buildings are cultural monuments. With a population of 385, it is the smallest town in Bulgaria, retaining its town status today for historical reasons.
