Spa Hotel "Villa Aspa"

Very nice hotel between 3 mountains. The swimming pool with always hot mineral water in combination with delicious food, clean rooms and very friendly staff makes the hotel extremely suitable for summer or winter holiday. Only 5km from one of the biggest ski resort

An amazing way to spent your holiday on full relaxation mode! Aspa Vila's water supply is only with mineral water, the pool which temperature is 38-39 degrees and the jacuzzi with its 40-41C° were the best part of the hotel! Best time to visit second half of January, when outside temperature is below 4 degrees, it is quiet and peaceful. The staff is nice, there is a shy waiter which has the best maniers, the food is enough to warm your tummy and satisfy your wolf hunger - a lot of food! The price includes only breakfast and dinner, but that's okay, the food is so much there that you can't even imagine, although the restaurant is working through the whole day. The steam room was at it's best too! Totally recommend!

Pool is working nonstop, staff is friendly and always ready to help. The place is quite and you can rest properly if that is what you are looking for. We ate literaly the whole menu and everything was very tasty and well done. Good job Aspa. Thanks!

First of all, Selo Banya (Banya Village) is a real gem with its thermal spas and authentic rural surroundings. Local housewives wash their laundry in the hot sources, and, allegedly, all the houses have "free" floor heating - truly amazing. Second, Aspa Villa is a nice and professionally managed spa hotel in Banya with its own natural hot water outdoor pool and jacuzzi. (Because of the hot springs, the outdoor pool can be attended in wintertime as well.) It was also okay to stay after the official checkout time, using the changing room. There are several surprisingly good restaurants around: the "Ropchov Han" is close to a Michelin star with its food, ambiance and service (but very-very far when it comes to prices), and we also found an exceptional "mehana," strictly grandmother style, called the "Chilkovata Mehana" - meals as if your Bulgarian grandmother had made them (also the same prices :-) )

A few minor problems, though. Not enough parking spots. Existing parking spots are difficult to manouvre, because of a lack of space. Rooms are at the end of their life cycles - still in order, but a renovation seems to be timely. Slow and overcrowded elevator at peak hours. No warm and dim lights in the rooms - only strong central lighting or clinically white bedlamps. The main pool has no attractions (water jets, for example), and there is no bank to sit down in it. At the weekends it can get quite crowded too. The water temperature in the jacuzzi is a bit too high, you cannot spend more than 10-20 minutes in it. The breakfast was good, but, surprisingly, no sweets at all (no cakes or biscuits, few jams or fruits). All these problems are indeed minor.

We like going to the Spa at Aspa Vila. Food is good and we both had massages with a soak in the Thermal pools after.

One of the best places I have recently stayed. Great rooms, delicious food, friendly staff and wonderful pool and jacuzzi with mineral water. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Villa Aspa!

Amazing place!We were there on a team building and we loved it!There is a hot mineral pool open even at night.The rooms are specious and there really close to a forest.
There is an open BBQ on the balcony of the restaurant.
