Kadin Bridge

Hail to the Civil Engineers (they were not called that back then) and the builders / workers who built something that still looks great and is in service some 500+ years later! Not many things last this long and are still serviceable. It’s a nice bridge and I was happy to get to see it. Thanks Bulgaria for maintaining it. It seems it is a source of pride as it should be.

It is a very beautiful historical bridge. Thank to the locals it is kept in a very good condition.
The water in the river is so clean. In the river we saw river muscles and storks feeding there

great ancient bridge built in the 9th century which can be passed by car and on foot, the park next to it is very well made but unfortunately there was a lot of garbage from its inhabitants!

Historical monument in the "must see" category. Just don't plan to go over it with a car.

Very interesting how this bridge has survived during the centuries and how it is built so then today big vehicles can go over it.
