Eco-house Zheravna

Simply amazing. The house is perfectly restored and looks better than the museum houses around. Kept immaculately clean by the kindest owner lady. Lots of common spaces to relax in silence and enjoy the beauty. It was truly a pleasure. If the owner offered full board as well, we would immediately book a month's stay and never leave the premises ;-)

We stayed in Zheravna during the winter.
The place is magical with its old houses, authentic atmosphere and keeping the Bulgarian traditions.
The house was clean, cozy and warm.
The host-lady was really nice and outgoing.

Nice and welcoming place to stay in Zheravna. The house is a traditional one for the Bulgarian villages from 150 years ago so it was a real experience to spend the night there. The place is very clean with green garden where you can spend a lot of time watching the beautiful views surrounding the house.

First of all, the village is amazing as you approach it on the road and you can see the roofs of the houses under the mountain. As you enter there are streets paved with river stones. It needs to be explored by foot anyway. The location is near most relevant attractions in the village. It looks very traditional, 1 story house with a terrace upstairs, with vines, and old objects. The lady does not speak English, but we quickly got along for terms and breakfast time. The room was big, with basic furniture, all good with that particularly since the price overall is low. The garden and terrace are places where it is nice to spend time. The breakfast was warm pancakes with cheese, jam, honey and yoghurt.
Considering the price, nothing to really complain about.

Lovely place with the sweetest couple managing it. It is a tastefully restored 500 year old wooden house and has a wonderful atmosphere and soul. Have been coming every year for the past 10 year to ride horses in the mountains, which you can hire in the village

Страхотна къща в сърцето на Жеравна на минута от магазини. Подредено, чисто и помислено за всичко. Имахме изключително приятен и спокоен престои. С удоволствие бих повторила

Доста приятно място. Все едно бяхме отседнали в някоя от къщите-музеи. Само банята в стаята си беше нова и модерна. На разположение за използване е и кухнята на къщата, в която има всичко необходимо за готвене. Хазяйката беше доста мила.

Sehr cooles Hotel, vor allem wegen der Natur und der Sauberkeit. Das Hotel ist spärlich eingerichtet, aber für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert. Auch die Besitzerin war zu uns sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war auch gut & lokal

Accueil compliqué....du fait de la langue et d’une arrivée tardive. Mais les chambres traditionnelles sont fort agréables et le petit déjeuner copieux. Nous étions fin avril et sans doute les seuls touristes à Zheravna.
