Sam Doidoh (I Came Alone)

Very simple, authentic and tasty Bulgarian food. We had the Gemista so filled tomato with rice and minced meat, fries with "Sirene" cheese and pork ribs with honey. I tried the "Tarator" too because it reminded me of the greek "tzatziki" and it was great. Prices were insanely cheap, even for Sofia and Bulgarian standards, as we paid 28 leva for a full meal and drinks. Highly recommend!

Fair prices, normal tavern-like atmosphere, clean toilets, delicious food, and normally friendly staff. All was good and I would come again.

Food is great, traditional cuisine, very delicious. Prices are below average for the region. Everything seems to be home made.

We tried the daily lunch menu and it was delicious - traditional Bulgarian meals and desserts. Everything we ordered came very quickly, the waiters were super kind!

Nice atmosphere, excellent prices, good quality food, the only downside is that smoking is allowed in the restaurant.

Haven't eaten better tasing food in my recent memory. I had the "Shkembe" stew and Peppers filled with meat and rice and both were above and beyond.
Even with all the tables taken, the servece was reasonably quick.
Will come back again.

Restaurant is a bit hidden from main street, but it is well worth to go there. Excellent and quick service, good food, vey reasonable price.

Situated near Pancharevo lake. The traditional cuisine is really good, everything is homemade. The shkembe chorba is fantastic, the best I've had recently. It's in a convenient position for a walk near the lake.
