Arboretum

A great place for a picnic. It is accessible with a car and from the parking lot there are ten meters to the small lake, benches, tables, sunbeds and beautiful trees. This is the only place where you are allowed to light a fire in the mountain in case you want to make barbecue. Also there are several paths starting there if you feel like walking a little and enjoy the amazing nature.

Ideal for a day outside the city. Not too crowded, great for little kids. Easily reachable by bus. Plenty of BBQ tables & even sunbeds placed around ponds. Mosquitoes weren't an issue on a sunny day at the end of June.

Very pleasant place for all the family! You can make a picnic or barbecue there, or walking around to see the threes samples, or just sit, listen the water and breathe the fresh air of the mountain. It's a very easy short way to run out from the busy city.

Really nice place with wonderful trees and plants. It's has special species which can be seen only there which makes the place like a botanic garden. It's very big, which means that you can make a nice walk circling the entire park. The walk around is not long and it is well marked, which makes it perfect for kids. While making the walk, there is information about the trees, plants etc. Overall, it is a very nice place with wonderful fresh air and very relaxing.

Great place for relax and make some barbecue

Amazing place for a day trip in the mountains. It's very well maintained, easy to get to and very pleasamt for spending the day at! I also likedthat there is a small library where you can leave a book and take one - great idea!

Very cozy place where you can enjoy the beauty of the Vitosha park. Camping is allowed but of course with high precautions! There are many nice gasebos, beautiful lake and a gallery for visually impaired people!
