Hotel Nikol - Dolna Banya

This hotel is very Good, with hot springs swimming pool and spa center, perfectly located 1 hour driving from Sofia. The food in the restaurant is home made and delicious. They also serve homemade wine which is perfect. The prices are normal. Definetely recommend it. Will visit again.

The pool was amazing and the water - super warm and nice. I liked the food but I really miss the fried quail eggs. ( It was the only place I ever ate them and they were amazing). 😂 Overall a great place, I really recommend

Our stay at Hotel Nikol was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere of the resort is very lively with friendly staff and interesting guests. Its architecture is grand while still maintaining a quaint, countryside feel. In addition to great food, there is also a fitness center, spa with a sauna, indoor hot tub, a massage therapist, and most impressively an outdoor pool with pure mineral water from the mountains. Temperatures in early May were still a bit cool, and the pool was heated perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel to those looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway just outside of Sofia.

Great place! Nice view towards the mountains. We liked the room, comfortable bed and quiet too, in the winter the room was warm and cozy.

Clean bathroom, enough space. The staff was attentive and responsive. The manager was responsible, a good man.

Serving food in the restaurant was swift, good service and everybody smiling. The food is tasty!

The SPA is well maintained, sauna, steam room and inside warm pool. Good access to the outside pool, which is also warm. Decent size of the outside pool, we liked it a lot! There are new sunbeds around it. The pool facilities and the water were crystal clear and clean.

There is a nice lawn for walking around barefoot, also very neat. There are some activities for children - a slide, a trampoline etc.

The parking lot of the hotel is big, there is also space for caravans and motorhomes. The street from the main road to the hotel is illuminated okay.

In the winter the sun rises and sets shining on the outside pool area - it's beautiful!

Very good place for family holiday, just relaxing with friends or company event. This place suggest good SPA and pool with mineral water. Restorant is good and the food is tasty.

Just 20 minutes from the highway to Sofia. The hotel is nice and swimming pool was big enough to swim and also with perfect temperature. The people were really polite and also the food was amazing - I will totally come back for patatoes with cheese :)

Great pool and spa facilities, wonderful views of Rila Mountain, surprisingly good cuisine at the restaurant where 80% of the products come from the hotel's own garden. All in all, it is even underpriced for the experience you get. I really can't understand the previous comment - this is a 2-star hotel, were you expecting all the extras of a 5-star hotel for a very reasonable price of 30 EUR for a double room?

Five star service with an outdoor hot mineral water pool and a stunning mountain view from the rooms. Great meals which includes even horse meat and kitchen working till midnigth. Great place for relaxation and family visits.

Great place to get away from the busy life. The outside pool is with mineral water and also you can relax in the SPA area. The staff is very friendly and the prices are good. Will come again.
