Staria Chinar - Port Varna

This is an authentic bulgarian restaurant with staff that really tries very hard to please everybody's taste. Maybe the waiters are not the most smiling people, but the food is really good and tasty. I see people comparing this restaurant to Happy, but honestly it is a different concept, with "slow" food, attention to details and a strong focus on the taste. I tried various restaurants in Bulgaria, but to me this is one of the best.

Delicious food, we sat for a dinner and tried the dinner menu, freshly cooked food, service is very fast and instant. Tables and restaurant clean with a beautiful terrace and kids play area. Prices are reasonable. The food was very tasty.
This chain with restaurants never disappoints.

A lot of choices on the menu, even beyond traditional cuisine. Octopus with butter potatoes and the lobster bisque was top-notch. The prices are a little bit higher compared to other establishments, but the food quality and service are worth it. The location is one of the best in Varna. Definitely recommend it to anyone in town.

That is a place that you must visit when you are in Varna! From the desserts a must try is the Crème Brûlée.
We were there on a Sunday night and everything was booked, so you must have a reservation beforehand.

For some years Stariyat chinar managed to keep with the high expectations related to the fact that it is considered one of the very best places to eat out in Varna. Amazing service and food! Staff clearly respect each other and the patrons - I've never seen staff enjoying their jobs this much! I've been to a number of higher end establishments, and the service here rivals all. The food is fantastic! Everything that came out of the kitchen was fresh and delicious. Must try!

I only been once here, but I'm sure I'll go again. The food was great, different from other places, but really great. The staff was really nice, they recommended us the Mediterranean fish soup and the desert, both were really great choices. They also speak English. There's a big paid parking place a few meters away.

Best rack of ribs I’ve had anywhere. Melt-in-your mouth with extra smoky, sweet sauce to pour over. Fresh sea bass. Authentic tiramisu with mascarpone. Perfect recommendations from our attentive server despite the crowd. All while admiring the sea.

Absolutely a must visit restaurant. The style and atmosphere are definitely on par with the seaside and Navy ornaments. Very nicely impressed. The food was gorgeous and just greatly tasty. One cannot go wrong with any dish in the meny. The appetisers are a necessary order item. The service was perfect, so good job to the staff!

Very nice place and delicious foods.
We liked all the things we ordered. Just one mistake, we ordered calamari and they brought fish! They changed it immediately. We liked the staffs and they talked well English. Recommended

The food is great. The service was great, we ate salad (it was kind of small), pizza, and main dish - pork, chicken and deer meat. It’s kind of expensive, but it is good money for what you get. I recommend the place!

We tried their seafood salad, two types of mussels (with garlic and beer), appetizers and the cherry of the cake was the desert - homemade ice cream with taste from your childhood (kids of 90s will understand 😉).
