Muy rico - barbecued beef and sausage with salad, rice and potatoes for 60bs. One plate is definitely enough for two to share! Meat is grilled right outside the door. Seems popular with locals too.

Most satisfying restaurant I tried in Tupiza. Ate here twice.

60 bolivianos for a plate of grilled meat, potato, mushy rice (kinda like congee).

Main piece of steak cooked medium rare to medium. What a surprising relief coming from Argentina where so many places overcook your meat. Tasty as well (that's the most important thing, right?)

Salad bar is included (choice of mixed greens, red onions, beets, green beans & carrot mix, creamless cole slaw, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.), though I only ate a little from it (mostly what looked like canned green beans) as I opted not to brave Bolivian hygiene.

Don't understand the negative reviews. Your dining options are limited in Tupiza, so discovering this was a huge relief.

Huge plates of delicious freshly grilled meat. The prices look a little steep at first but the portions are vast, one plato is easily enough for two.

Good meat, salad bar completes the offer. Very basic service. The bottle of wine they served us was brought open to the table.
