We did the 4 day salar & Lagunas tour from Tupiza to Uyuni with driver & guide Andreas. The trip was absolutely brilliant, getting better every day.

We booked a 4-day trip to the Salt Flats in Uyuni while visiting the Red Lagoons, geysers, llamas, flamingos, and much more. If you go, ask for Mr. Gerardo Cary as your guide. He was wonderful! He was kind, thoughtful, and very professional. We highly recommend Gerardo Cary. He went out of his way to make sure we were all having a great time. Considering he had long hours of driving, he was always in good spirits, informative, and responsible👌 I also liked the care and maintenance he did for his vehicle considering the difficult terrain we were on. He made us feel very safe and we had a marvelous time. The meals were included with the tour. Along with a coffee/tea time before dinner. You also have the option to stay in the hostels and share a room or pay a little extra for your own room. The people and hospitality was remarkable. We traveled with our own cook Sra. Flora. She was a sweetheart. I look forward to returning someday. ♥

We had such a wonderful experience with Abner (driver/ tour guide) and Ruth (English translator/ tour guide) on the classic 4 day tour from tupiza to uyuni.
Abner was a fantastic driver and a wealth of knowledge about Bolivia and the places we visited. He was also so imaginative and a master photographer, which we were not expecting!! Thankyou Abner!
Ruth was the sweetest lady. She translated English for us as our Spanish was very poor, but not only did she do that she taught us Spanish for the 4 days which we are so grateful for.
She was so knowledgeable and we were able to get an insight into what it’s like to be a human living in Bolivia.
We loved this side to the trip, our conversations in the car with these 2 lovely humans really topped off the beauty of the Bolivian landscape.
We were also fed and watered very well which must be such a huge effort to organise when cooking for many people and while on the road.
We are so grateful for such an enriching experience. Doing this journey from tupiza to uyuni also means 99% of the tour you see minimal other tourists which gave us a real appreciation for the landscapes.

I joined 3 hrs horseride to Canon del Inca in Tupiza & the 4 day trip from Tupiza to Salar de Uyuni and both were amazing! Got a spanish guides, but they were really nice and helpful and could understand the most of what they were saying. Everything (food, water, accomodations) was arranged for us! They also took good care of me, when I got sick on a trip.

The combination of the serene ambiance and the natural light show was simply magical.

The Salar de Uyuni itself was a sight to behold. The vast expanse of the salt flats, stretching as far as the eye could see, was a mesmerizing sight. Gerardo proved to be an excellent photographer, capturing incredible group photos against the backdrop of the stunning white landscape. These photos are undoubtedly some of the most cherished souvenirs from our journey.

During our tour, Gerardo knew all the best spots to witness these captivating moments and guided us to the perfect locations to ensure we got the most breathtaking photos.

As we ventured further, the tour led us to other remarkable sights. We visited the Isla Incahuasi, an island filled with gigantic cacti that seemed to be straight out of a fairy tale. The vistas from this vantage point were awe-inspiring, allowing us to fully appreciate the sheer vastness of the salt flats.

Another remarkable stop on the tour was the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, where we witnessed the breathtaking Laguna Colorada. This vibrant red lake, teeming with flamingos, was a sight to behold and left us in awe of the natural wonders that Bolivia has to offer.

My partner and I had an amazing experience with our tour guide Marco, and cook, Trefonea on our 4-day Tupiza to Uyuni tour! Both super friendly, great senses of humour and very professional. Marco was an excellent driver, we felt like we were in very safe and capable hands at all times. We chose the Spanish tour, despite basic Spanish abilities, but Marco spoke clearly and slowly for us to understand and gave lots of interesting information. He also put in so much effort to take great (and hilarious!) pictures of us at the Salt Flats. Trefonea cooked us excellent and delicious meals every day, and catered so well for my vegetarian needs - I never went hungry, if anything, often too full! Would highly recommend Tupiza tours based on our experience and guide/cook! :) Muchas gracias Marco y Trefonea!

Great tour with Miguel to see all of the beauty of Tupiza! We had a lot of fun and took some fantastic photos. Wonderful picnic lunch included. The tour consisted of a few short hikes and plenty of view points. Miguel was a great guide and we saw so much in one day. we went to places that are different from the 4 day uyuni tour. We highly recommend

As many people wrote before: the 4d/3n Salar de Uyuni tour is just incredible. There is actually much more to see than just the Salar and we enjoyed every bit of it. Our driver/guide Rubén was the absolute best: very knowledgeable, super safe driver, funny and caring. Thank you so much, Rubén, we would do it again any time! Our cook Jeanette topped it off: we weren't expecting such delicious food. As she always prepared the food in the early morning (4am!), we cannot thank her enough.

We just had a 4-day tour with the agency Tupiza Tours from Tupiza to Uyuni, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide and driver Andres and our Cook Romelia made this tour a wonderful moment of our travel, I would definitely recommend to go with them, you will have pictures and memories for your whole life!

We just finished a fantastic tour with Rubén Cazon and his wife Ada. Over the last four days we visited coloured lagoons, enchanted cities out of sand, slept in a very nice salt hotel, saw flamingos and lamas and of course the stunning salt flats.

As two vegetarians we were very happy with Ada's meals (especially her soups!) and the warming teas in the afternoons. We were impressed with how clean Rubén kept his car at all moment, grateful for his explanations and clear planning along the trip, which allowed us to circumvent large tourist crowds.

We had a great experience and will definitely recommend Tupiza Tours to friends and family travelling Bolivia!

This tour agency is attached to Hotel Mitro. They do a lot of local tours like horse riding and multi day tours to Salar de Uyuni.

I was assisted by Mariana. She was very helpful in recommending and setting up tours for me. She also helped me with setting up a SIM card with data for my phone and had other helpful suggestions for my entire Bolivia trip. Excellent service 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

We arranged a transfer with tupiza tours from tupiza to tarija as we read that the road could be dangerous in the rainy season and wanted to avoid a bus journey. We had a comfortable 4x4 vehicle and our driver was the best driver we have had in Bolivia - we felt safe throughout even on the windy muddy roads. He offered rest stops and said we could stop if we wanted to take any photos. Would definitely use again.

Did a 4-day Salt Flats tour from Tupiza to Uyuni and only have positive things to say. Marco, our guide was incredible, so knowledgeable, great driver and happy to join us for cards or soccer in the afternoon. Great value for money, with good meals each day, accommodation is rustic but comfortable and we saw everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend.

We did the 4 day tour from Tupiza and were impressed with the service. Our driver Andres we felt went out of his way to provide a memorable tour and look after us. We would highly recommend him. He maintained his vehicle daily, and drove us to unique spots to make the tour feel special. The food and accommodation were perfectly adequate, the price is competitive, and the itinerary is very good.

In April, 2023, I went on a four day tour of the South West corner of Bolivia with Tupiza Tours. The driver of the Nissan SUV was Nelson The tour was one of the highlights of my three week stay in Bolivia. It was absolutely superb; not just the amazing scenery, but the information provided by Nelson, and the food cooked and prepared by Guadalupe. Nelson was a great driver and very personable. I cannot recommend this tour enough - 4 days Tupiza to Uyuni. Everything was incredible, especially Marcelo our guide. He went above and beyond to make the trip the best it could be and I cannot thank him enough. The accommodations were excellent, the food was outstanding and the scenery was extraordinary. I couldn’t have asked for a better group or guide. Truly one of the most memorable trips I’ve had in my 8 months travelling.
